@@justinatheodora I do fear the vaccine. You should eat healthy, build your immune system. I’ve never took the flue shot. People who took the flu shot are spreaders. I will not take the vaccine who just in maybe 2yrs came up with that takes years to test it. I know of people who have and it affected them worse then the virus. Their not the same. Of course they will not allow this to be in the media. And about deaths. Their instead saying that deaths are from virus. People are not open to the truth. They trust the people who are told to lie because they are controlled.

I contracted Covid-19 last month and took 18 different supplements and knocked it out in 12 days and had what physicians considered to be mild symptoms even though I was scared out of my wits the entire 12 days until my fever broke. I had low grade fever, lost sense of taste for 4 days, mild cough, and rapid heart rate if I just got up to go to the restroom or take a shower. It was definitely nerve wracking, but I am in very good health for being 55 years of age and I am also in the health industry as a health coach with a background in functional medicine as well. Anyways, the main supplements I took were 60mg to 100mg of ionic zinc per day combined with 500mg of quercetin phytosome. Quercetin acts as a zinc ionophore which transports zinc into the cell. Vitamin D3/K2 is also very important. Check your levels and make sure they are above 30ng/mL because people with levels below this tend to have a difficult time with Covid and studies show that all the people with levels below 10ng/mL had one thing in common which was death. I will list my protocol if anyone is interested. I believe it helped me recover without this virus taking over my lungs and causing a cytokine storm.
@lauriehall40254 жыл бұрын
I’m interested. Thnx. I’m taking zinc and just started Quercetin to hopefully prevent covid. I also take. It D3, K2, oil of oregano, black elderberry, selenium, and a few others. Basically, a supplement pharmacy. Lol. Thnx
@Total_Body_Fitness_USA4 жыл бұрын
@@lauriehall4025 I was doing everything I knew to prevent contracting the virus, but yet I still got it. I was even using an infrared sauna for 20 minutes 4-5 days per week because my theory was if I was ever exposed to the virus that the heat from the infrared sauna would kill the virus before it completed the incubation phase. Anyways, I can now throw that theory out the window. Lol.... However, everything that I was doing did help my body fight the virus so it wasn't all done in vain. Here are the supplements I took during my 12 day fight with the virus. I took most of the supplements daily for months even before I contracted the virus, but in lower dosages. I am also very fit with minimal body fat so this played a role as well since latest studies are showing that the virus feeds on lipids which is probably why obese people have a difficult time with the virus. Not to mention that a lot of obese people will have some kind of underlying medical issue. 1. 10,000 to 20,000IU vitamin D3/K2 (KForce) daily - improves innate immune response, prevents viral replication by transporting zinc into the cell, and helps keep the adaptive immune system from overreacting as to cause a cytokine storm. This is a very important supplement to take. I now get 20 minutes of sun daily when the sun is out because I live in Houston, Texas and sun does so much good for the body as long as you don't BURN. 2. 10,000IU vitamin A palmitate - improves innate immune response 3. 2g omega 3 nordic naturals - helps with inflammation and much more. 4. 12mg astaxanthin - controls oxidative stress in fat soluble cells. 5. Up to 1g of NAC - helps prevent blood clots and helps with lung function. 6. Liposomal Glutathione by Quick Silver - Reduces oxidative stress, helps liver function, and much more. 7. 300mg of CoQ10 - helps with heart function 8. 20mg of PQQ - increases mitochondria function 9. 200mg Stabilized R-Lipoic Acid Supreme by Designs for Health - controls oxidative stress in every single cell - fat and water soluble cells. 10. 5g of D-Ribose - helps ATP production improving cardiovascular output. 11. 3g of Glycine - repair, sleep, calms the heart, and much more. 12. 60-105mg of Zinc - prevents viral replication and much more. 13. 500mg of Quercetin Phytosome by Thorne - acts as a zinc ionophore getting zinc into the cells to prevent viral replication. 14. 1000mg of liposomal vitamin C - helps adrenal gland function which is under severe stress due to the virus. Also helps with the innate immune response. 15. 400mg magnesium glycinate - calms the heart and activates vitamin D so it can be utilized by the body. 16. 50mg of B-complex - energy production and much more. 17. 450mg pantethine and 500mg of pantothenic acid to help adrenal function and much more. 18. High dose pro-biotic containing S-Boulardii - to increase immunity in the gut. 19. Lots of prayer! I also took selenium and milk thistle to help my liver clear the virus, but I didn't start these two until after symptoms subsided. I did take before I contracted the virus, but stopped after contracting. Selenium can actually detox the liver and I didn't want to put more strain on my body while I had the virus. It probably wouldn't hurt and selenium is also good for the immune system and with inflammation, but I was already taking a lot as you can see. You also want to eliminate sugar or anything that contains sugar since sugar stuns the innate immune response for up to 6 hours after ingestion. Hope this helps!
@lauriehall40254 жыл бұрын
@Taiwo Omotosho yes when I can find it. Look for other brands if you can’t find Sambucol. I haven’t use olive leaf. I use oil of oregano along with many other supplements. God bless you.
@Total_Body_Fitness_USA3 жыл бұрын
@Chris Zorb Yes, but I was already doing NAC which works to boost glutathione. Also, as I mentioned in a previous comment, I didn't want to task my liver any more than necessary and selenium can cause the liver to detox which could make things worse. Everything worked out perfectly and here we are several months later and I have experienced no lasting negative effects from the virus. I now included a weekly IV drip consisting of 15g of vitamin C mixed with 2grams of magnesium in one 500ml bag of sodium chloride solution. I also do another 500ml bag that contains a full B-complex, and lastly 2 grams of glutathione which is pushed through a syringe. I started slow with the glutathione and worked up to 2 grams to prevent any significant detox reactions. After contracting any virus, your toxicity levels significantly increase so this is a very important protocol that most people know nothing about. Once per week is good for 6 weeks or so and then once per month should be fine for maintenance. I still use the infrared sauna up to 5 days per week because any time you decrease toxicity, you naturally increase your glutathione status. Not only that, but it is great for improving your adaptive immune system. There are also studies showing that using an infrared sauna 5 days per week for 20 minutes can decrease cardiovascular disease by up to 50% and decrease ALL cause mortality by up to 40%! That's huge! Thanks for the comment and good luck and stay safe!

If you take 100 mg of zinc a day, how much copper should you be taking?
@Project_25013 жыл бұрын
Dr Berg, I read a lot about zinc supplementation, but it raises one major question! How long is the abstinence period within a zinc supplementation cycle, because most doctors say you should take higher dosages of zinc for max of 6 months. So what after that? Do I don't take any zinc anymore at all during this time? And how long should I wait until I do another 6 months supplementation? Do I even need a second supplementation? It seems to me that no study out there tested zinc supplementation and its effects for a longer period of time than 6 months. Also there is so many different statements on dosage. In the US the max recommended daily dose is 11g. In Europe it is 25g. When I watched another doctor (on KZbin), he stated that people with a MILD deficiency get treated with 2-3 mg per kg bodyweight. So I weigh 140 lbs which is about 70 kg, that would mean that I needed to take 140-210 mg per day to compensate for the deficiency if I had one? This is extremely confusing. I run into the same issues with practically EVERY supplement I try to get information on. Several doctors I visited so far also seemed as if they are not very knowledgeable in that regard. Some say "only take supplements you have a tested deficiency" - which makes sense to me. Others, like you say "take all mineral supplements at once, so you're covered" - which also makes sense to me but it is contradicting the other statement. So what is correct now?
@Herbie112 жыл бұрын
So true. One channel says it's bad, another says it's good with almost any supplement. I split a 50mg table in threes. 16.6mg (can't find smaller tablets) and take 2mg of copper twice a week. Been doing this for awhile with no I'll effects. Definitely cleared up the acne.

I found Dr. Berg around the same time as the plandemic began, and started taking Zinc and D3 as well as many other supplements. I've also been spreading the word to anyone smart enough to listen. I really want to take Dr. Bergs course but I need to make sure that the timing is right. Spinal fusion in November so I will be laid up for quite some time... sounds like the perfect time!!

Always funny to see people use the word PLANdemic as if it wasn't 100 times more likely and plausible that the pandemic is a result of incompetence and mismanagement by institutions, governments and health care systems around the world as well as the exploitation and disregard of ecosystems. It's an overestimation of how competent and organised any group of humans can be really. Either way we need to look out for our own health and zinc and vitamin D are great for that

So Dr. Berg, why does your trace mineral supplement only have 10mg of zinc? And less than one mg of copper. What is the time period of consuming 100mg of zinc?
@dionline882 жыл бұрын
So this makes me wonder, I'm in healthcare and have worked with patients straight through the pandemic since it began in 2020. I began taking the ingredients in the Zelenko Protocol (Vit D, Vit C, Zinc and a zinc ionophore) and I continue taking this even today. Thankfully I've remained healthy and haven't needed to take off even one day of work! Per day: Vit C 1000mg, Vit D 10k units, Zinc 100mg, Quercetin - and I do take Copper, Mg, B Complex, B1 and your electrolyte powder. I feel great (also lost 49# doing Keto/IF, so that helped!). Now I'm in a quandry - continue? Lower the amts? Stop?? As of right now, I'll continue unless I hear otherwise! Thank you for all of your hard work Dr Berg!!

I think every time I take zinc(50mg daily) my eczema flares up. Try it to people with on & off eczema. If it triggers, then they should stop taking zinc from supplements. However, l-optizinc doesn't triggers my eczema but it always made me sleepy.

I just determined that I have been taking 58mg of zinc for months with only 1-2mg of copper. I just found out I am iron deficient. Zinc blocks iron absorbtion and iron needs copper to get it where it needs to go for energy. I have been so tired for months with high pulse rate and trouble sleeping.

there's a big difference between zinc and elemental zinc... the actual amount of the zinc element in a certain type of zinc,( ie Zinc Glycinate which contains about 23 mg of elemental zinc in 100 mg of zinc glycinate). This wasn't mentioned in the above video and also is almost never mentioned by anyone. If you're saying something is "too much" or "too little" it's helpful to be specific about stuff like this IMHO. Otherwise, there is a lot of room for misinformation or misunderstanding.

Dr., You should make a video talking about copper. I got myself 4mg of cooper to add to the minerals I have been taking and I sort of felt some metallic taste in my throat, heart beating (not intensely), some sweat in my hands plus fatigue. I once took at night and I woke up sobbing, then I just stopped it. Please, enlight us about copper!

It seems that I can't do more than 25mgs. My bottle has 50mg zinc pills. If I take the whole pill, I'll get nauseous. That being said, I've recently learned that there are different forms of zinc. Which is the best form of zinc for supplementation and absorption?

Lower it to 15mg and always with food. It is better to listen to our bodies, start small for at least 8-12wks, then you can increase it if no difference in your health. Personally anyone eating good balanced meal consisting of seafoods, fish, organ meat should not take more than 15 as it's just a back up in case of any slight deep. I personally take Zinc Balance by Jarrow on weekend ( Sat & Sun)
