@@TheLawnGuardian What I have left of green space is looking pretty good, I did have 2 bouts of fungus, but looks like I was able to kill it off for now. Now lets talk about what is not green space. I killed 2/3 of my back yard and 1/2 of my side yard because of Poa Trvialis. I have battled it for years and I finally killed it all back in early June. It will sit until Sept 1st when I try to reseed everything. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Ben your lawn is looking very nice, good job! I remember your disease problem's last year, because I also was having some serious problems with gray leaf spot and brown patch. Mine is looking pretty good, not near as nice as yours though. I applied some fungicides this year, so far, I applied Headway G, and twice applied Cleary's 3336F. But, now it's time for me to hit it again with some fungicides, and, I'm wondering, should try a big box stores products, or what fungicide program you are using? Your lawn is looking good, and the stripes are killer man. Thanks, John
@TheLawnGuardian3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, John! I've been using Propiconazole and Azoxystrobin. You can see a bit more details of what all I've been doing in the description. I've been using concentrate liquids of these and have had good success so far. I wasn't having this same success from stuff at the big box stores but I know some people have. Thanks again for all of the support. Good luck with your lawn!
@Johnny53kgb-nsa3 жыл бұрын
@@TheLawnGuardian Ben, I seen on Domyown they recommend using a contact fungicide when applying these fungicides, is this necessary, or something you did? Or they just trying to sell more products. Thanks, John
@TheLawnGuardian3 жыл бұрын
@@Johnny53kgb-nsa I didn't use a contact fungicide. Propiconazole and Azoxystrobin are both systemic fungicides, meaning they work by being absorbed through the plants roots or foliage. They are in different groups, which helps reduce the risk of the fungus becoming resistance. I don't know exactly why they recommend a contact with these fungicides but if I were to guess, it's probably to help the overall effectiveness of the fungicide application. Since both fungicides I used are both systemic it has to be absorbed in the plant before it can start working, while a contact fungicide works as soon as it on the plant. Again this is just a guess, I'd ask a professional in the industry to get a more accurate answer. I hope this makes sense. Thanks again for the support!

This is my biggest problem in an otherwise perfect lawn. It looks great spring and fall but in summer suffers from brown spot/dollar spot I think. I have the same mix of grass as yours. Can you share your fungicide program?
@TheLawnGuardian3 жыл бұрын
You can find the details of what I have been applying to my lawn in regards to fungicides and more in the description of this video. All of my applications are on there except for July but that was the same app as June. I kept my apps about 21 days apart. I may have 1 more app I put down in August, but for the most part it's all there. I hope that helps. Thank you for your support and good luck with everything in your lawn!

Glad to see you back and hope you enjoyed the deserved time off. Lawn looks great. Relative to your fungicide program, moving forward into the remainder of summer, will you continue with apps every 3 weeks? Also, do you water in propico/azoxy upon application or let it sit on the grass blades for some time before watering?
@TheLawnGuardian3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Alex! I think I might do one more app for the year, then I should be good. I have letting my application sit on the grass for about 24 hrs then I'll run my irrigation. Thank you for all of the support!
