Yes. Example. I'm employed at a work environment that gives people a second chance who have criminal background records. One person in particular, who previously has spent eight or maybe nine years in prison, so you know this is someone who would never want to go back to prison, so understanding they need their job. It was hard enough for them to find a job. When first hired, this person was offered rides by the covert pathological narcissist main boss, when the subordinate employees are not even supposed to ride w management in their cars or stuff like that. Narcissist boss, showing all of her cards about how she hates this person & that person is p@thetic... et cetera et cetera. It was more than this person w criminal record could take, so this person started backing away from this narcissist manager. Narc manager then started finding fault w her work. Whereas before she was able to get away with doing what was less than what is required of all of us. She was put on a different schedule & her hours were cut. Until she started being an enabler, & this is ALSO a work environment that hires people who are challenged. So you have this older lady who is challenged being bullied by the main narcissistic boss & another malignant overt pathological narcissistic boss under the main boss, now, having the person w criminal background record being indoctrinated into all 3 of them bullying this older challenged lady. Older challenged lady has hung out/friends w the person with the criminal background record & person with the criminal background record at some point tried to smooth it over, going to the older challenged lady privately telling her she was sorry for joining in on bullying & apologizing. But she still is bullying her right along w the other two narcissistic bosses, I heard it myself. Including undermining her behind her back/ hating on her & her job performance behind her back. Vile critters. Some of us are working on reporting for discrimination. And have been retaliated against, wrongful termination Or had to quit due to anxiety, & I've had my hours cut, sent home multiple x for trumped up reasons, to build a file meant to eventually fire me. Legally in this state, located in the united states, It's o k, perfectly legal to record when only one party is aware, so I have been recording from day 1, As from day one I saw what was coming, it started on day one. We have a good case. We have not been able to find a lawyer to help us & we are working towards reporting first making charges for discrimination against the Corporation at the e e o c.

@selfesteem you need to rally and outnumber them, then never let an inch of their narcissism take stage, debunk, ignore, and squeeze them out at every chance they display that behavior. And form alliance with non narcissistic person until they have no choice but to deal with themselves. Remember there is more regular people than narcissistic ones, they are the odd man out

Sometimes it's not a choice. You learn the truth when you already have children together. You learn the truth when you come across such a "colleague". Or you end up in a family where your parents are narcissists. So you have to "deal" with this fact for a certain time. This time, unfortunately, in some cases takes years or even a lifetime. That's why there is a need for more such videos.

I opened an online store and made the mistake of sharing my really good sales numbers with my narc "friend." As soon as I did I got several bad reviews which really shocked me. I put two and two together. Closed that shop and opened a new one under a different name without telling that person and have done incredibly well. 100% good reviews. She made a point to tell me she was looking for my store in order to buy something to support me but could no longer find it. I told her I closed my shop because i suddenly got some bad reviews and decided to do something completely different. She pretended to feel sorry for me but I could tell she was happy and felt victorious.

I am furious. I grew up in a narcissistic family. I was young and I had no idea what I was dealing with, but these people damaged and tried to destroy me. Then I had a 15 year reprieve where I lived basically in isolation with my animal family. These were great years. Now I have moved into 'independent' senior living, and I'm here to tell you that these places are a haven for old narcissistic women just waiting for someone to get their claws into and destroy. While I have the knowledge now to deal with this I am angry that I have no other choice but to live with this for the rest of my life.

The best you can do is probably trying to Just ignore them, one of the best things you can do to ignore them TOTALLY & COMPLETELY that drives them to not be able to bolster their false self is simply just to read a book. Will be a good escape for your mind and Soul. Check out astral projection. This life existence can be all too much, take a reprieve. Surrounding yourself in The Pure White Light. Let your Soul gently slip out of your body, top of your head, start at your toes, wiggle out, Go back to being a little girl, Run run run run with the butterflies, Give your soul a break, Start out with breathing and go. Go anywhere you want, be any part of you, Go hang out with those you've lost that loved you. Hang out with Jesus, crawling into His lap. Him holding you and falling asleep in His arms with the other little children and animals at His feet.

I’m was always isolated and given silent treatment shamed etc. I have to this day believed I was a bad child. As an adult I kept trying and then finally realized what I have been dealing with. It as shocking to realize I will never ever get a mutual love from this person. So I have studied up on the cycle. I have been pulling away and all of the signs are there. Right now I am in the midst of the smear campaign. I am silent though. I won’t give in and I am not confiding in anyone. This is such a lonely journey but I am done with being the scapegoat. But that’s about all they can do is give emotional support but better than nothing so I do hope at the least you have good friends to confide in. She was upset that I had a better resume than her, and I was living on my own, whereas she still lived with her parents. She gave me the silent treatment, so I ignored her. Our second year working together, she turned two teammates into her flying monkeys, and tried to paint herself as the woeful victim in all situations. Because of that one Narc, the Director let go of many good staff and was finally left with all the Narc’s followers and they closed the school eventually. It was a good private Christian school with no discernment whatsoever. I went through severe health issues due to trauma drama and I just quit. Director was not in a place to understand anything going on. She was blinded by the Charisma of this Narc. Narc was putting up a show that she was rich and throwing parties left and right with many of the staff involved and the staff were merry and did not see the wolf under sheep’s skin. Finally all came trembling down in three years. I did well after I left.

They stalk you endlessly and use their connections in anyway possible to distort reality into a gaslighting environment and the gaslit flying monkeys never want to recognize that they are dupes dancing like marionettes on the puppet strings of puppeteering narcissists. Especially if a factual survey of the situation shows both the manipulations and the machinations with both statistics and evidence that it’s all just a pack of lies, misrepresentation, misinformation, false narratives, misdirection, false accusations and obfuscation of reality with nothing but hearsay and corruption influence.

In my experience when narcissists find out that you have strong boundaries and they cannot manipulate you, they tend to disappear from your life and keep their distance. Sometimes they try to shame you and discredit you, or even get you out of their social circle or work environment. I get the feeling that narcissists covertly and subconsciously admire you and even love you in some strange psycho way, but their ego cannot allow them to admit that and they have to destroy you.

I recently came to the conclusion that a special friendship which I thought would turn into a relationship was in fact a toxic dynamic with a narcissistic person. One day I discover a pattern and couldn't understand why we couldn't get it right, often fight and why I would feel some sort of guilt or shame after being showed with "love", affection and attention. Certain things I would confront the person with, she'd say "it's in your mind" or "nobody else but you think of me like you do" questioning my sanity at times. I would litterally feel exhausted of that dynamic and eventually I stopped reaching out to her. At first I felt sad cause it's seems we had something good and couldn't work out but after doing some research and putting pieces together, I realize that this was all a lie, a manufactured false idea and hope for God knows why. At least knowing the truth now, it put me on the road to recovery. It's been just a year I've been cutting contact and still going. It just sucks sometimes when looking back and had those hope that something more could come out of it when it was never that person's intention. Oh well, you learn and move on to other things.

Narcissist/narcissism is such a strange label. Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection, but I've never met a narcissist (and I've dealt with a few) who seemed to love themselves. They've all seemed like they felt inferior to others, jealous, overly competitive and lonely. The opposite of loving onesself.

I lived with a narcissistic brother off and on for a couple of decades. The time that didn't live with him was incredibly eye-opening. I noticed that life was still challenging, but was much more challenging when I lived with this brother. I also realized that I always felt like I was losing because I was playing his game. When I stopped playing his game and played my own, I started seeing more success in my life - to the point where he started trying to play my game. It was easy to part ways with him when I categorized people in my life as either assets or liabilities. He was definitely not an asset.

Malignant narcissists is what the video is all about and it is very true, very well designed, thank you for the upload! We have to understand and accept that these types of people are very narrow-minded and their only goal is to have power over whatever they decide to have power over. They cannot even think to live their lives differently. It is a dead end street with a malignant narcissist. Lucky if you can escape. Harder when you have to tolerate it. There are some techniques to deal with them, but the situation drains your energy, sucks the life out of you and will transform you into a different person which are all very demanding and there are a lot of sacrifices to make when being in a situation like this one.

You cannot change their behaviour, you cannot change the fact that others are still loyal to them. Ultimately you need to stay away from them. If you go down this rabbit hole, you will be spending decades of your precious years on a useless piece of crap with nothing positive to show in the end. The narcissist in my life was married to my brother. He died 2 years ago and her attempts to control me and my mom (her mother-in-law) have accelerated since then. I have known she was like this for the 50 years I have known her, which is why I didn’t want my brother to marry her. But now my mom has memory problems and sometimes delirium and she does not need anyone telling lies or manipulating family members. So I have stepped up to the challenge. I immediately respond when she’s trying to pull something on us. I don’t try to change her, but I don’t accept her lies anymore. She’ll never back off a lie, but i flatly tell her I know that’s not true. Twice it’s been about things where I was there and she wasn’t and she’s telling me the story that I know is wrong. In the past I would say Whatever, and drop it, but mom doesn’t need that confusion so I call her out. She’ll insist she’s right as she’s walking out the door because she can’t stand not having the last word. Then I talk to mom and makes sure she’s following what happened. She’s also known her for 50 years so she gets it. Jan

Well, they were doing this just about the whole time I was in contact with them. Maybe right after the love bombing stage. I'll give it to them tho, they had about 1/4 control of me while I had 3/4 control of myself, they knew I wasn't a weak person and used to say it in an annoyed way like they couldnt believe it. Tried their hardest to break me down but they knew they wouldnt win in the end bc it took almost a full 4 years just to gain the 1/4 control of me... and I got it back. They were always afraid of me, mentally, which I think is so sad. They always said and with so much rage and anger, that it was like I was reading their mind or that we were practically the same person. That meant if they felt that they were smart, then that'd mean I was too or better. I stopped laughing while in contact with them for so long but now its all I do. Not bc it bothers and hurts them which is so pathetic, but bc I'm happy again. I found myself and love myself. Thank you, God.

Covert narcs do it all the time. Like someone else correctly said here - it is a way of control, in their mind they think they are fully in control of the situation. That is regarding full no contact. As regarding to frequent silent treatment - they do it as a way of punishment for you not complying with what they want and need from you. They think if they do it to you then later you will be more agreeable towards them, but they probably don't realise that it only works with people with zero to little self-esteem. If your levels of self-respect and self-love are adequate - you not gonna put up with this kind of mistreatment. Overt narcs are the ones that neve initiate no contact and are all over you no matter how much you tell them upfront that you don't want them in your life. But coverts actually almost always leave you alone and will never speak to you again once they realise that they cannot manipulate and lie to you. It hurts their ego and they "cannot handle it".

Now he gets his jollies by sneaking up on me…tiptoeing up to a door I was about to open, being right behind me when I turn around…really juvenile tactics, which are all the more ridiculous considering it’s a 70-year-old man using them.

This video points out literally everything I encountered with a narcissist. I've seen posts where people describe narcissists as being broke. They are not always physically broke. A narcissist is spiritually bankrupt. They look to feed off of spiritual light. This is what love bombing is all about. A narcissist has no problem giving you flashy expensive things to suck you in. Once they have you hooked, this is when the gifts stop and the spiritual drain begins.

You know what creeps me out the most. I had a child. A friend that I grew up with was made for many years and I finally got tired of her covered narcissistic ways. Ok, but I recently was shown a picture of her and I cannot but it's creepy. Why is she colored her hair like mine and wearing glasses like me? That's not like her, she's a red head. She's not a blonde, she doesn't need glasses. Why is she wearing glasses I'm blind as a bat. I need glasses and my hair is naturally blonde, I haven't spoken to this woman in 9 months now. It's been 9 months she's been bugging me but I've been ignoring her insulting me and then I still ignore and then turning around, saying I'm saying blah blah I'm still your friend. Yeah, but I'm still ignoring her. But what was very bizarre is why is she starting to? Trying to look like me. I mean, if she's not fine. I don't care but she's doing it again. She does this weird stuff like tries to be like you. It's very strange, it's creepy. She's been talking to my daughter often on. But my daughter knows about her and tries to keep her distance. But my daughter showed me a picture of her recently. Lee cause she started some art Powell website to cell art something. I've been bugging her to do forever, and she's finally decided to do it possibly because we don't talk anymore, and she has nothing better to do but gossip and put people down but anyway, I digress, that's creepy that they try to look like you and act like you. My daughter brought this to my attention yesterday. And when I saw the photo she posted for her page, I couldn't believe it. Why is she trying to look like me now? That is creepy.

Cluster b, do this sometimes. I think it's because they don't have their own personality, their own likes and dislikes, so have to make up one using you/previous people. My ex, a sociopath female, dressed as a man (short manly hairstyle/suit and tie), because I told her I liked guys (and at the time she thought that was what I wanted and now I see it was to try and impress me). Then later after we broke up she started dressing like me. (Wearing flowery dresses and grew out long long hair, makeup, flower jewelry) It was bizarre. Just know that cluster b do this from time to time. Sometimes they get in their 50's/60's and this behavior eventually stops/slows down. Why? Because they have picked various traits/personalities over the years. They then have a custom made personality to show to everyone and stick to that one "personality". Thing is, most children do this too, but after about age 12, a child will grow out of this behavior and have a solid personality. So basically cluster b are children.

Unfortunately I have experienced the same, where I noticed the pattern of behaviour of one person in a social group before I was one of the targets. The moment they realise you really see them (because you question one of their lies about someone), you become the target, and they go to work behind the scenes to poison everyone else’s image of you. I had to come to the realisation that if a group of lifelong friends are willing believe one Narcissist’s lies about you without questioning those lies or coming to you in concern to discuss what they were told, you sadly have to be ready to let go of all those friendships … they obviously didn’t know you well enough or care deeply enough about you in the first place, if they are willing to believe anything they hear about you.

This one rich guy who knows how to pretend to like you, (he owned a very successful Pizza Shop.). He knows how to fake it. Anyway, he went and bought a wood lathe and announced to the group that "If Mark can do it, so can I." Nice friend. There is one other guy who is copying me, my brother. He's expressed a desire to buy a lathe and copy me. I can always tell when he is lying or faking me out, he gets a very strange look on his face which is always consistent with his lies. I suspect he might have already bought a lathe as he is sneaky about how he talks about his desire. He's done this to me in the past, stolen things from me, and I don't understand.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery. In fact, it’s a form of LOVE. Where would the human race be today if people never tried to imitate the GOOD things other people do??? Sharing interests is friendly. Competition is not always friendly, but it can still be constructive. The Pizza Hut guy sounds competitive. Maybe you should sell wood lathes? Or start giving woodworking classes at a community college? Or organize a group workshop, where people pool their tools? Pizza Hut guy could show off by bringing more tools, and you could use the tools! Win-Win! One of the wonderful things my Mom taught me, is that no two humans are exactly the same. Even if everyone has a wood lathe, you will still be selecting your wood and working with it, using your own character, tastes, goals and timeline.

AA is a network that's very useful to narcissists. (The people within it are likely to be vulnerable to manipulation. Most networks are vulnerable to the influence of the mafi-... er, I mean, "institutionalized narcissism". But AA is especially so.) Some of those guys might not be acting out of cruelty, though. Hearing about your hobby, I feel like I want to buy a wood lathe because it sounds like an awesome hobby, not because I'm competing with you. I won't. And I believe I'd suck at it if I tried. But when you hear about it there's something appealing about it. That rich bastard, though. He sounds like a grade-A-A-hole (no pun intended). Don't forget, some people might be jealous of your progress or of the fact that you have something to keep you grounded. If they try it as a way to compete with you, then they're not really grounded by it. They're lost in the sea of competition. Don't get dragged in.

Exposed my covert narcissist mother, went no contact for years, she worked in the shadows to get my children removed, after years of trying and manipulating those around me to turn their backs on me and my kids, she became a foster parent to get paid for temporarily fostering my 5 kids, otherwise she told the state she would not stay with them and here a year later, still lies about me to family and even the state and she has now targeted my children, devaluing them. Until now, I got her recorded and will be creating a story time exposing her deadbolting my kids out the house in 12 degree weather for over an hour and a half then called the cops on them saying they were burglars trying break in and when the cops arrived they realized they were just kids (13 & 14) trying to get in their house and that they lived there and my mother was watching the whole thing on camera. She wouldn’t answer when the cops tried to call her to explain why she would deadbolt the front door from the inside and then call the cops on her own grandkids. She finally answered them and told the cops she doesnt want them anymore and to take them. Cops had to explain to her she cannot call in a fake B&E and also as a foster parent she cannot kick them out, she has to go thru DCYF. 15mins later she finally arrives (remember she was watching the kids freeze outside for over an hour thru the camera) and immediately yells at my oldest daughter saying that she tried to run away, my kid stood up and said no way, she gave them permission to go to the mall with her friends from 4pm-8:30pm, i was on the phone w my daughter the entire 2hrs since they arrived home and i spoke up to my narc mom saying that what she did was unethical and a danger to the kids and that i saw and heard everything, she immediately yells at me to shut up, shut up, shut up and starts almost whining explaining that she had to fix the door cause it was broken suddenly. I politely reminded her that she called the cops saying the kids were burglars, then did not answer her phone while kids freezing outside and also that the police officer advised us of what she said about not wanting them. She denied it all, called everyone a liar and stormed off. God please empower me to regain my children and finally put an end to this generational abuse under her control. And it’s a joke because DCYF tells me all I have to do is move to get them back but they sabotaged me from getting into a family shelter & a dv shelter, twice this year. Got into a shelter and my worker said that I lied to get in the shelter, worker told them that I did not have to move in order to get my kids back, completely lying and so when the shelter staff took back their offer to take in all my kids after their conversation w my worker, I left. And even now at case management meetings my DCYF worker tells me to go into a shelter to get my kids back. It’s all twisted and btwn my narcissistic mom and her new flying monkey of my worker, I am exhausted and defeated but I will never surrender my children willingly to such an evil system or person; they will have to rip my motherhood out of my arms and even so I will forever fight for them because if I failed to escape the vengeance of my narcissist mother, I will make sure to survive and thrive so I can stand up for my children when the time comes.
