@@InsomniaCoachfirst, I was impressed by your guest’s calmness and speak eloquently about her success story. My insomnia & anxiety started in 2022, went through CBT-I for 10 weeks, i wasn’t fully understood the whole program, but I followed the instructions, it really helped my anxiety in insomnia completely, until I accidentally found ur podcast that opens my mind & eyes so, I started to binge watched every episode in ur videos religiously, and that’s when I started really learning and understand about the insomnia, and that’s my healing started. From this video, reinforced to be patient and surrendered, it takes time to healed…. I’m now pretty content with my progress although I’m not completely 100% recovered , that’s why I continually to watch ur videos and Daniel’s videos to keep my mind to be reminded, it really really helps tremendously. I truly appreciate you for all your efforts to making all the videos interviews available to insomnia community ….. thank you 🙏 god bless !

Martin, they say insomnia and lack of sleep releases inflammation? If so , is it something that is harmful in the short term? Also, does drinking a glass of wine impact sleep?

Have you done any videos on parasomnias? Exploding head syndrome, hypnic jerks, awareness, hypnogogic hallucination. All of mine are when drifting to sleep. It caused me so much fear that I've developed bad sleep anxiety as I dont know what i may experience or if itll let me fall asleep 😔 if there are any stories/interviews or videos youve done I'd love to see them.

Parasomnias aren't my area of expertise, unfortunately. With that being said, I do have a video on hypnic jerks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXfPqZyOl76El8k

It depends on the individual - it can be a helpful way to move away from chasing after sleep, which is often part of the insomnia struggle.

What matters is how you respond - and your experience can be a great guide when it comes to figuring out a workable way to respond.

@drumbottle
@drumbottle Ай бұрын
@@worshipperofallah1 not technically, lots of people have recovered after years of even decade worth of insomnia, remember stress & anxiety will cause 100x times more problems than insomnia. For most people stress & anxiety of insomnia is the sole cause of insomnia.
