Why should Nigeria accept that , it will soon lead to a cashless society and very risky highly volatile market. system.why accept to be used by western powers as a test run for the beast system .

@billionviewdedvideosandaudi6862 Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I understand why the idea of tokenization and digital systems might raise concerns, especially with fears of volatility and dependency on global powers. However, tokenization isn’t about abandoning cash or blindly adopting systems it’s about creating opportunities for Nigerians to invest and grow wealth in a way that’s accessible and inclusive. As for volatility, tokenization isn’t the same as cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. These tokens are tied to real-world assets like property or shares, which are generally more stable. It’s also an opportunity for us as Nigerians to innovate, lead, and create systems that work for us rather than waiting for others to define the rules. Instead of seeing it as a test run, we could view it as a chance to be ahead in the blockchain space, setting standards that other nations might even follow. Of course, it’s important that these changes are regulated properly and tailored to fit our unique needs as a country.

Great idea, but how about the paper works, confirming the validity of the acclaimed seller of the property, what of house owners who aren't tech savvy?

@timileyinolatunji7842 Great question! The idea behind tokenization is to make everything more secure and transparent. Before a property can even be tokenized, the ownership and all necessary paperwork would need to be verified and recorded on the blockchain by trusted parties. This ensures that what you're buying is legit. As for house owners who aren’t tech-savvy, the NGX or related platforms would likely work with intermediaries to help them tokenize their assets. So, while the system is digital, there will still be support to guide those who need help. It's all about making the process easier for everyone, not just the tech pros.

@@ittanbantani agree with you. Nigeria has indeed embraced cryptocurrency in unique ways, especially with its growing use cases like remittances, peer-to-peer transactions, and even powering small businesses. Despite challenges like regulatory uncertainty, Nigerians have been incredibly innovative, using crypto to bypass financial barriers, hedge against inflation, and participate in the global digital economy. It's fascinating to see how necessity fuels creativity in this space.
