Nigeria’s Third Republic was a stillbirth. It was eventually buried by General Sani Abacha on November 17, 1993. #HistoryVille

Hmmmn, hmmm, I think the information around NADECO, 12 min mark, may be inaccurate or missing some critical parts. First, NADECO was not formed by Abiola, but the organization was in favor of Abiola. Of course, it is possible that NADECO was funded on the backend by Abiola, but that isn't public knowledge and it may be valuable to provide data to back that claim. A brief Wikipedia search highlights the fact that Abiola was not the founder. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Democratic_Coalition_(Nigeria) Secondly, General Abacha did not kill MKO, in fact, accorded MKO some measure of respect. First, you failed to mention that MKO was placed under house arrest instead of being taken to Custody when he was accused of violating some of the military decrees. Secondly, MKO escaped from his house arrest by scaling the back fence of his house into a field and sneaked to Epe where he declared himself as President of Commander of the Armed Forces, which was considered treason, I think. It was at this point that MKO was no longer treated like a VIP. You can read Jamiu Abiola’s book, The President Who Never ruled to get some details on the events that led up to Abiola being arrested. amzn.to/3ugRtgW Yes, MKO died in Custody after Abacha died. So it seems quite unfair or inaccurate to blatantly state that Abacha killed MKO. This may be valid if this is meant to be a biased media report. Regardless, this is quite refreshing
