Isn't it strange to say, *"all those fear and anxiety gone the moment I cross the border."* Yet you are right. Everytime I go to through hazzle of Seme and cross over into Benin, I feel at peace immediately. When I cross back into Nigeria, my anxiety rises again, even though I am from Lagos State.

And that happens when it's Lagos.. Lagos is not for the weak

@@NigeriaToTheWorld You will be surprised to know that the place where I feel most at peace on earth is my home town of Lagos Island, the original EKO. Even now at 77, going 78 in a few weeks, I feel safe to entire Lagos Island at any hour of the day. Once I cross the lagoon and land in Idumota or Agbon, I feel my strongest ever. I still live in our slum, and I find it the safest for me than any expensive gated estate in Ikoyi /VI/Lekki

It has been wonderful to see your slow and steady progress. Some days soon Insha Allah, we shall see you above 100,000 subscribers. Nice to see your first outing outside Nigeria. You remind me that I need to visit Cotonou again. I used to visit quite often with my parents in the 50s, but I haven't been back there since 1959. When I pass through Benin now, I used to stay in Porto Novo, the official capital, with a dual heritage of Yoruba and Egun, just like Badagry.

I had a terrible experience in cotonu, those people are heartless and so corrupt especially at their borders. There's no difference between those folks and Nigerians. The only place where things seems a bit civil was in Togo and somehow in Ghana
