Nigeria should NOT be celebrating Nigerians-in-diaspora who have excelled, cos Nigeria did NOT contribute to their success in the 1st place. They succeeded out of the sacrifices & efforts of them+their families & not the Nigerian govt. They actually succeeded inspite of Nigeria. If they had remained in Nigeria, chances are very high they wld have amounted to nothing; be frustrated; victimized; oppressed; denied opportunities due to the damned quota system; or even maimed or killed! Now they've gone elsewhere & shone like stars, Nigeria is 4ever keen to jump in & share the limelight. Not cool at all
