I live in Portugal with the d7 visa and work as a freelancer. I will open an LLC to get the non-double tax benefits of Portugal's NHR program. I have been told it is best to pay myself in dividends from the LLC, I am not sure if this is possible or if it would save me money... there is a lot to figure out. Plenty of clients yes. It can be a little tricky but yes it's great. I have videos about this. The only thing is if you have more than 60k in stocks and you die them there are estate taxes. There are ways around this
