According to Sagas, Sweden and most of Norway were at ancient times under rule of Finnish kings. The sauna is an older invention than the relative modern times under Swedish rule. omega1231 it depends. Ethnicly Finnish People are different. The Finnish language is its own language, not related to scandinavian languages (althought there are swedish speaking Finns and loanwords from modern and ancient scandinavian languages). geographicly Finland is located atleast partially in the Skandinavian peninsula (iceland, denmark, färöe islands etc are not located in scandinavia, but are referred to as scandinavian). Finland at the same time isnt scandinavian and is scandinavian, depends on the way you look at things...

Having seen Mads Mikkelsen's danish movies, where he plays often a very odd person (talking about amongst other things, Adams Apples and the Green Butcher), I would like to see him play Don Quixote in a movie based on the book. It seems to go pretty well in line with his other slew of odd/quirky characters.
