I've watched it on my phone and watched it again on my TV. It is impossible to capture the Grand Canyon with a lens, but somehow your paintings gave a superb impression of this oversized paradise!

Man, I almost clicked off when you started to complain about being cold, wanting to go home, etc. but the rest was an incredible, unique way to tell the tale. The sketchbook was just simply full of fantastic work. Beautiful.

This was really, truly stunning. You did a phenomenal job on this project; I loved all of the twists, turns, natural beauty, and of course the lovable, knowledgeable Franz. But, the part that got me the most was the nostalgia of the paintings as a method of storytelling. Your very first video was like that, all art and audio. Over the course of 6 years of video content I've gotten to watch you progress as a cinematographer, then suddenly this is taken away and you revert back to your art and I get to see how much you've grown as an artist too. Powerful. It felt so authentic, sentimental, and breathtaking. Max you are SO talented.

Thank you for sharing this. You did such a beautiful job capturing the emotion of being broken down and then reshaped by a true adventure in the wilderness. I've found that once that sense of adventure is awakened nothing else is really the same. It seems only when faced with our own complete insignificance can we find our true significance.
