I enjoyed how you showed the process even when mistakes are made! I have this same m17 and it’s been great. I went through the exact same process when removing my orange tip. I do recommend sticking with the green gas, the co2 hits way harder but it seems the valves are too stiff on the co2 mags to reliably fire. I recommend the 6mm pro shop 50rd green gas mag for this! It has a way more secure fit in the magwell than the stock mags.

Thanks mate! That is great advice, definitely will stick to green gas.

I think you'd like the Wilson Combat grip for that gun. The tan Trijicon SRO reddot looks really good on it.
@6mmbadgerАй бұрын
Thanks mate! I actually just put a falcon grip on it. I am obsessed with them. I love the SRO. I cant justify buying another one though. I have them on my Glock 45's. This window is too small for me though!!
@ShutTheFuckUp1987Ай бұрын
Buddy, it's an air soft pistol. Who the fuck is gonna put a trijicon red dot. The site you're talking about is probably over four hundred dollars..
@atarigonzo6928Ай бұрын
The word you're looking for when describing the shape of the grip is "potatoe".
@6mmbadgerАй бұрын
Haha! That is very accurate!

Hey man love your videos when you removed the orange tip does it sit on the inner barrel or is it just outside it? Does it make the inner barrel wobble?
@6mmbadgerАй бұрын
It sits between the inner and outer barrel. Inner barrel doesn’t wobble and does not effect performance, but it is definitely more secure with the tip on. I have changed the barrel and the hop rubber, so is now thicker. Thank you!!
@keepostrom257Ай бұрын
@@6mmbadger What type of barrel and hop up rubber did you use for yours? Because mines arriving soon and I want to upgrade it to have better performance.

ah yes this pistol, baddabing gave this a review and I was put off completly by its unreilableness in anything less than really warm conditions. such a shame becuase i did want a a m17 in the collection even if i dont use pistols much

Yeah I saw that! I like it so far and put a unicorn barrel and flamingo bucking in it. But I live in So Cal so dont have the cold weather issues....

Just picked up the M18, I'm still looking around for advice on removing the tip
@6mmbadgerАй бұрын
I removed the pin in the end to get the inner barrel out. that was 100% necessary! It took me hours to punch that pin out though!!! hope you have more luck! I used a pair of scissors to cut it from front of the barrel and then it slipped out,
@MASEPvAbramsMBTАй бұрын
@@6mmbadger generally the barrel pins take a pretty small allen/hex key, when I pop mine out I'll try that
@6mmbadgerАй бұрын
@ yeah try it! When I got mine out it had the friction part of the pin in the Center. Such a weird design for something necessary for repair. Was so happy when it popped out.

Outer barrel? I have changed the inner barrel for a Unicorn one now.
@atarigonzo6928Ай бұрын
@mysteryboxes yes the outer barrel. The original one is thicker.

I get so confused why grown men buy replicas of guns. I mean genuinely. They're often comparable in cost. For a toy that doesn't make me especially enthusiastic. And if it's because that's the closest you can get to an actual gun in your country, that's just depressing. Start working on getting some freedom in your life instead of pining over it. I mean whatever. But people I think are realizing that considering how armed the U.S. has become in the past 5 years without the corresponding spiral into violence that there is no compelling reason to prevent civilians from having these weapons of war in any country. Grown men who realize this buy replicas to give themselves some momentary pretense of illusory freedom. Got get involved in getting guns legalized instead of pretending to live in freedom. It's gross. Ask someone who's lived in both utter freedom and in the Soviet Union's fever dream of socialism.

I actually live in the US mate. I have real steel as well but i spend more money on airsoft replicas. It’s like playing real world video games but I understand everyone doesn’t like that.
@joshualandersАй бұрын
We buy replicas to play airsoft! It's quite fun, and my 11yr old can play also and learn firearm safety in a fun, controlled environment! Try it, you will probably like it! :)

@TheDamnSpot where are you getting a sig sauer m17 for $140 bucks. The m17 STARTS at $700 and go upwards for 1700 you literally have no idea what you're talking about
