Anything that launches a projectile has recoil. Any action has equal jada jada. Some weapons just absord it better or differently. And most don't produce enough energy to have it really affect you. So that's why it seems some boys and catapults etc. don't have recoil, but they do.
@joshridgell43122 жыл бұрын
Yes it has recoil but barley any at all I mean come on has anybody in this entire comment section shot a crossbow? He had a lose grip and the stock was NOT tight to his shoulder you can see it move slightly up then down before he took the shot meaning he was holding it slightly out from his shoulder.. I did it as a kid cause a crossbow is so light and u don’t expect it to do anything… so your grip is relaxed and not tight to your shoulder. The kid just underestimated his weapon, Just grip it like a man hold it tight to your shoulder and all is well👍🏼

I like how no one notices the fact his hand is in the path of of the bow string. It's not really as common knowledge as it should be, but putting your hand up in the path of the string is as dangerous as pointing a loaded gun at your hand, but you don't need an arrow to get hurt. Cross bows can have twice as much draw weight if not more than any other standard bow (compound,recurve, long) and have taken and broken fingers. Hes lucky he put his hand back down onto the foregrip because he definitely would have been missing flesh on his thumb if his hand did not move.

@@theblazingpegasus9151 it really isn’t possible, but honestly that might be how someone would shoot themself in the foot. Maybe for some reason they thought you were supposed to load the bolt right before you lock the string back. So while they’re trying to get the bolt in they lose there grip on the string and it launches the bolt straight into their foot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That’s just a scenario where I think it would be possible.
