He's sitting under the light because it's warm; he's playing with the laptop because you're encouraging him. Instead give him a well-wrapped hot water bottle and play with him using one of those toys (like da bird) which have a long dangly string and toy/feathers attached to a rod. But it looks like you don't mind having him playing like this.

+muskndusk - We have four indoor cats. They all like the heat from the lamp, but Goodman is the only one who tries to get my attention via grabbing the laptop screen. None of them like the feathers on the rod toy.

Joseph Ruckman Maybe try to distract him using a different toy. Not playing with his paws when he reaches for the laptop would help. But then the title of the vid says it all.
