@rajbhattacharya44272 жыл бұрын
But don't higher time frames result in lower ROI? So essentially to make real long term profits you'd need to be less greedy and have a higher ability to delay gratification? Not many people in this era fit that description though. Best advice is to just not get into trading (which essentially functions as glorified gambling for ignorant people) if you have no idea what you're doing or even what goals you have.
@shroomer38672 ай бұрын
@@rajbhattacharya4427 This. I would argue that dollar-cost averaging is the best you can do with funds. Don't go into options or leverage, almost everything is priced in and you can loose more than you can stomach with them. Go slow, invest the same 20-40% of your salary each month, don't look at the prices and continue until you get enough for a downpayment or something. Note that majority of what I said applies to long term funds like S&P 500 or similar. Don't try to time the market just automate the investment when you get your paycheck. The hardest part with this strategy is looking deeply at what funds you're going to be investing in and then automating it after you're sure, also maybe call up a financial advisor to hear their opinion before or after.

I learnt to manage my money through investments and it really works for me. They say money can't buy happiness but poverty can't buy anything.

That is all I think of every morning when I wake up, but since I started investing in forex with the help of an expert, I now earn $7k biweekly.

These videos are extremely depressing but addicting as well. I enjoy laughing at the desperate.

Every stop loss I ever used was literally the bottom and the price shot up instantly after

"Why me? Why always me?!" Answer: Because you didn't check and set the stop loss with the ATR. Zoomer really should've mentioned that too lmao.

can u explain
@loonie54683 жыл бұрын
@@1975mastergames ATR = average true range - the amount that a price changes in either direction, on average, in a certain time span. price = 100 daily ATR = 30 - set your stop loss at around 70 rather than at say...90, so that you don't get bogged like this. Granted, it can still happen if the market is particularly volatile...but in most cases it should work.

If you need to have stop losses on anything Crypto you definitely shouldn't be investing in it.

Agree. Never invest more than you can lose.

Yeah, just invest a small amount. Literally everyone says "OMG IF YOU INVESTED 5 DOLLARS INTO BITCOIN YOU COULDA HAD 50 BAJILLION DOLLARS" Then invest literally 10 bucks here and there. Get into the habit of growing your money, it always goes back up anyway just don't mess with it expecting to be a millionaire
