Nyma, this piece is deeply profound that you see yourself so well at such a young age. And, at 58 as a redhead freckle faced woman and Playboy x-model I so relate to you when I was 20. They always wanted to cover my freckles, and Playboy declined me as a Centerfold because I was too exotic. LOL ~ That is what they said, I still have the letter from them! And, I bleeched my skin in an attempt to rid my face of freckles. Thank you for screaming into the void. We hear you and I am grateful.

I missed the birth of Nyma's channel, but I felt it's impact. Thank you for standing up for girls with darker skin tones. It feels good to be thought of by industries that think of everyone else, and even better to know that my sisters don't have to face a beauty industry that looks them up and down and looks away or says, "I have nothing for you." 👋💐So...This woman is wonderful, although my daughter has caramel colored skin, we watched @NymaTang all throughout her preteen and teen years. (she is now a university student). As a 3rd culture American kid, living in northern Europe and east Asia, I wanted her to be empowered and love herself and never wish to look like or be anyone else.
