History is very intriguing to me. I personally don't think "they" are telling us what "really" happened... thanks for the video 💪😎

Hi old friend. Bristol, once pronounced 'Bristow,' has a wealth of maritime history. When I first stepped aboard, the merchant navy was then the British Shipping Federation, how times have changed. The name Bristol comes from an old Anglo-Saxon phrase, 'Meeting place at the bridge.' In 1595 the Bristol Society of Merchant Venturers navigation school was formed, a little known piece of history for those who are interested. But I won't go on an about maritime adventures, as we will be here for weeks. It's a wonderful place, but as in all old UK cities there are a few dark sides, but then, that's history and should be treated with respect. Old Hopi N/American Indian proverb. Live, but only the rocks will live forever. Cheers Kev. Fair winds.

@@Topphat-l1f Hi old friend. I was thinking of you, while filming this one. What with all the Maritime connections. Bristol is a City that just kept giving. I know I'm going back. I hope life is treating you well my friend. Cheers Sal. Fair winds.
