Cannot for the life of me believe this is a real song sung to real people. I'm crying lol

I wouldn't say this is the Old Path as "church buses running everywhere" is a Jack Hyles thing which had its heyday in the 1970s 🙂

This "song" represents is legalism at it's best. This song places "equal elder rule" (which is what the Bible teaches) with the emergent church. It mentions the "King James Bible" before the blood of Christ. "old Paths" is a buzz phrase for a practice that is anywhere from 50 to 100 years old out of 2000 years of church history. It it's too old, it's criticized as being Roman Catholic lol. The standard is not the Word of God (especially since they mock plural elder rule, the biblical teaching) but the age of a church practice (like the 80 year old unbiblical "altar call"). You probably won'y get far into this song, unless you like really bad southern gospel (the music God honors and the devil hates, you know, like the KJV)...

Everyone other Christian is wrong. Except us. Obviously.
