Will be a good move for him. Korean fans are very passionate and they will adore him. It's good to see that he just wants to play football instead of chasing lucrative contracts. He will get plenty of gametime in an underrated league.

Whilst still a lucrative contract, his wages aren't even close to what they were in the PL. So no, I really don't think he's going for the money. @@leonbell5141

I guess there would be some players in big leagues who want to prove themselves against currently underrated ability. S.Korea is fascinating option although lower salary than China or Japan. Anyway I’m interested in Jesse and Seoul FC’s new head coach. Those are all.

He even has nickname as Lord Lingard by many of his fans. There's a time when Jesse known as young promise talented player for United and England. But now he have many tattoo's that make him looks as bad boy player. Hope he can perform good in Korean League!

I think it’s more about the experience of South Korea than the quality of football..? Obviously European football is top of the tree, but to live and experience Asia while doing something you love is a big opportunity for him, that’s my take anyway?

As an FC Seoul fan, I am glad that Lingard came to Seoul. Although not as much as England, Lingard will have to take good care of his physical management because the k-League is a league that plays rough physically. Several players from the European big leagues have tried in the k-League so far, but they had to go back without success. I hope it will be different this time.

K league is perfect place for him to reshape his footballing ability. He'd have to condition himself and be dedicated. FC Seoul is in rebuilding mode after couple of years of relegation threats. This year FC Seoul hired new manager and begins rebuilding process. And Jessie fits in as symbol of the rebuild. Yes he had rough time for last few years, but he is till young. FC Seoul had number of player with Premier league experience like Ki, Gi and others. It'll be a great barometer where he is and where he could be in a year or so. Good luck Jessie!!

This is how the English sports journalism hyped up a lot of useless players such as Lingard, Dele Alli, Mcguire, Sancho and the list goes on. If the English football was as great as it's portrayed, why the English national teams was not mannaged by English coaches at some point? And if the English football style is so dope, why the top teams in the PL are managed by none English coaches? And why other leagues don't sign English players/coaches? Let that sink in.

This is what I hate about english football it's all about business for desperate bus load of money its all greed surrounding football english stars to deteriorate and fall short no wonder why english footballers aren't dominating in english it's because they don't take care of their english plants but purchasing foreign ones this something as a kryptonite to english players and the future

lol why not go Saudi and contact the club Ronaldo played for ? I get Jesse went through some tough times with family but he also shot himself in the foot by being a problem player at the club and turning down both west ham and notts renewals. He didn't really do well at United and was bang average just like the majority we still have at the club. Yes he scored some important goals and so as Mctominaay but they are both bang average players and not what United needs. The way I see it he should have just knuckled down at the club and fought for a spot but he let his family get between his career and sought counselling. Instead he started to be one part of a clique and no doubt the one who disrespected the like Rangnick and others.
