While receiving repeated Demos are annoying, they are part of the game and tied to the skill expression. Otherwise it would not be part of the game. To land 20 Demos in a game against Pros that actually train to not get demo'd is a huge sign of great skill and should not be focus of hate. In fact NRG being able to get demo'd so often shows that they were lacking a certain niche part of a skill. Being able to recognize and abuse the weakness of an enemy is in itself another sign of hidden skill and depth knowledge.

I know these two communities are completely different but in the Smash Bros. community, trash talking is widely accepted and utilized. Trash talking can make people flustered which makes them do more panic options and play more aggressive which can make them lose. What separates the pros is that they can keep cool and collected. Trash talkers spend so much energy being toxic that it actually takes away from their gameplay. If you can stay collected, winning against people who spend their energy trying to be toxic should be an easier task than someone who doesn't trash talk. That's why only a few pros can succeed while trash talking.
