the issue with blue boosting is that blue is the hive color you go to when you're lazy and you don't want to boost, as the honey it makes from macroing can exceed boosting when barely invested its also worth mentioning you could go boosting hive as blue, but it would involve using precise and vector bees, and pop gummy ssa, and you'd also need a huge investment into digital bee. At that point people just go white/red to make actual honey and have an overall better experience good video tho

Id beg to differ with the first statement, unless youre talking about someone who has a maxed out hive. I was always against macroing and being blue hive in general after i got so many red bees early on and i had fun boosting but the one problem is, early and late midgame players make near to no honey from boosting. If you arent blue hive youre wasting materials because blue macro exceeds whatever ANY hive can make at level 15 give or take. Switched to blue and went from lv 15 hive 60 days playtime to level 18 blue with only 15% of that playtime added. Went from 10t all time to 250t, in 2 weeks playtime. You also have to take into account digital bee, a gamechanger when it comes to boosting as white or red. Most people wont get digital bee until a much higher level as even I dont have it yet, but macro as blue and level up the hive a bit? Easy digital bee accessability. I must say though if youre level 20 with enough to switch hive colour and you arent then youre just lazy

I feel like the major issue with blue hives does boil down to macroing though I rarely see this reason actually brought up. That is to say that Blue Hives are strictly inferior to red and white with boosting being considered with the tradeoff being that it requires less setup. Though buffs to blue typically appear to specifically target a active blue playstyle but never anywhere remotely close to the same extend as the other two hive colors. If the intend is to keep macro income relatively low (comparatively) then it creates this issue where you have to buff blue in a very limiting way that would not impact macroing too much. The summary at the end around 4:18 can most likely be attributed to these two things combined: If you would invest into boosting as blue you might as well just go red or white instead and make more.

If Onett updated it should add a Maple field, Blueberry Field and Windmill field for endgame. As for endgame backpacks passives all going to their corresponding colors, white being gumdrops, Every 30th token would Spawn a Passive bee they last 20 seconds cooldown 5 mins, think of it like plants vs zombies mints They have their own abilities while also giving all corresponding colored bees +5 level power The bees are: "Pyro Bee" "Constel bee" and "Sticker Bee". Pyro bee spawns a "firework" token, as soon as it's collected think of it as TONS of explosive tokens in the field but they explode automatically,the bombs aren't as strong though Pyro bee Extends your precise stack by 5+. Constel Bee goes to convert on the hive on its own balloons included, if you are converting with it it gives you 2.5x convert instead. It's token Spawns a hot air balloon, merging all balloons in the field into one. Sticker bee speeds up your collector to the same speeds as a dark schyte but by an additional 1.2x, it's token just spawns 2 additional gummy bees. Now for the bear,i think it should be Royal bear? Perhaps not sure. Also Retro challenge revamp is needed A replace to the models like the slimes being Basic Wasps zombies Being Drone Wasps something like that..

This is a really great observation, I liked your video, very detailed and insightful, however, the real issue stems from onett allowing them to, and balancing blue hives around the ability to macro. IF they were able to boost as good as red or white both making 1qd and 2qd in boosts respectively, PLUS being able to get the honey from macroing, and use less mats, blue would be too strong. What Onett did is debatably the right choice, blue not being how it is would make the game way way harder to progress in, I know from experience. I think blue is in a good place, regardless of what you're trying to say in this video, which is great as I said before.

The real way the blue hives were nerfed was by removing the mechanic where if you leave the server and enter another one the pollen on the balloon doesn't disappear, it stays in the hive, now if you do it disappears.

well this aged poorly, I've been planning out my blue hive more as of late, and for the 50th I had really only three options, all with their own downsides to them frosty: good for snowglobe especially with the gifted bonus since it's a beequip that I plan to use, bad because there's other blues I'm gonna be using that negate having it bear bee: good for both its gifted bonus and the boosts given from bear morphs, bad only because either I have to spend robux (which I can't) or suffer trading for one (I'm a notorious hater of trading in games because the values ruin everything) which doesn't help since from what I've seen bear bee vouchers are EXPENSIIIIIIIIVE and lastly, digital bee, which is overall useful for many aspects, like the attacking, the ability duping could be useful, but the only downside is I have to play robo challenge as a blue hive, and reach round 20 somehow, and THEN do ALLLLLLLLLLL of the drives afterwards and considering my options I'm a little forced to actually use digital despite how worth it'll be 😔

Tbh macro is still useful for other purposes, rather than just making honey. Such examples would be to do mondo chick/wealth clock/dispensers overnight while sleeping, or especially the Stump Snail. IMO macro should only be used for anything that you want to do overnight and not doing something that’s completely broken. Macro should be banned for making honey but should be allowed for other purposes (like the ones I mentioned above.)

I've been a blue hive for almost half a year now and I'm still going to stay blue even if I almost have enough to switch to red. The honey blue makes from macroing is just too tempting for me to switch. Onett made blue way too op for macroing as they can still make up to 5t+ an hour outside of beesmas. (some people even make 10t an hour outside of beesmas.) But I might switch to red when I'm fully bored with blue.

@@gdrupert6313 Do you use a tad alt and, your hive composition is also very important remove filler/add filler bees. Experimenting with other patterns, and I believe your hive is fully gifted. Also your balloon blessing can increase your hourly by a lot so I recommend doing a rbc boost for at least a 70x blessing (if unlucky) but 80x+ is better for lvl 20.

It’s not onett’s fault; as you stated in the video, macros are what caused the blue meta to be ruined. This is not onett’s fault. He should not and did not have to take in to account if his players would be lazy enough to let a program play the game for them as they can’t be bothered to do so. The state blue hives are in currently is much more our fault than it is onett’s.

you'd have to moreso invest in an attack hive for that you'd need a lot of precise, spicy, lion, a vicious, and most definitely digital bee the red drives boost its attack, becoming a base 15 when maxed, as well as the fact it has the ability to stun enemies ability dupes could be useful too in certain scenarios to get more boosts (imagine it with impale) buoyants could also be an option since its passive ability boosts its attack stat with balloon blessing

imo, i hate macro. not macro USERS but the program its self and its use. bss is one of my all time favourite roblox games, been playing it basically around the start. i loved it, up until this beesmas. when god damn stickers came out. i love stickers i really do, but making them required for quests with some INSANE sticker requirements make it really obvious that onett intended macro to be used for them. as a person who doesnt macro because 1 im a mobile player. 2 i dont want to figure out all the complicated bs i need to do in order to use it. it was so incredibly painful spending 5+ hrs in mountain with 10 diamond bees. it SUCKED. as well as spending OVER A DAY in the hive hub. im a late midgame player, and whenever i watch ANY bss guide now, its always the first few tips where everyones glazing natro macro. i feel like stickers being needed in quests outside of the sticker seeker quests really ruined it for me. bss now feels like any other game with trading. like adopt me. i hate how the whole meta revolves around natro macro now. im kinda scared to become an endgame player because of planters and stuff. because wdym 12 hrs of ingame playtime? obv onett made the hydrophonic, heat treated, and petal planter FOR endgame macroers. i cant go 1 server without seeing a blue hive macro in pine. and also, i dont want to be a blue hive because of macro. the whole meta of blue hives IS macro. without it, i dont think blue hives would be the meta yk? sorry for all the yapping lol. but tldr; macro overcomplicates bss, and without it, blue hives probably wouldnt be meta, and sticker required quests wouldve either became easier to get (ie: making them more common to get, or picking more common stickers), and planters probably wouldnt be a thing either.
