I gotta tell ya, when I think 'technological revolution in the NHL', Brian Burke is not the name that leaps to mind. And yet, I'm not at all surprised.

lol only in Canada do you ask someone on the street for directions and it's someone you know from hockey.

The download speed was accurate for a 56k modem. 5.61 kb, that's not too shabby. You'll get a medium quality mp3 in 45 minutes.

These are awesome. even though i disagree with Burke most of the time about hockey today the history and stories are great. Dont let algorithm get you down they will pick up more views soon. Should try to make each like 9-10 mins if possible. (better for algorithm and really i just want more)

So no one knows the difference between the '1955 Chevy Impala' and an illustration of a 1958 Chevy?? They didn't have Impalas in '55. Fun videos anyway.

This is not true. The internet was not available to the public until 6 August 1991. And even then, there were not the browsers like we have today. I think he means they did a peer to peer connection via modem over the phone lines and delivered a file.

I went to Pat Quinn and said, "We don't have $8000 to spend on laptops just for scouting Pat" and he said, "No problem, I'm on the the phone with Bobby Clarke and the 1975 Flyers and they're going to get those laptops for you, after that the long distance charges are yours eh."
