Police in Ontario are getting a cash infusion to help them fight crime.
The money is coming from the federal government, with a particular focus on the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The Canadian government will provide $121 million to combat gun and gang violence.

🤦‍♂Fix the ports... They are getting stolen to ship out of country, we know this already. Put one thief in jail, two new thief will replace him. Shut down one gang, another gang will take the place. As long as there is money to be made, cars will be stolen. Stop stolen cars from leaving the country, can't sell the cars, no cars will be stolen.

How about - 1. Get rid of key fobs and go back to the good old key ignition. 2. Increase Port inspections 3. Make it law that you can’t cover your face in public, except medical grade mask if sick. That included burka people. No religious or cultural exemptions. 4. Allow police to conduct more random checks if people are out at night and look suspicious. Hunches/suspicions/gut instincts are often rights. That’s all I can come up with.
