I have a Triumph 800 xc and mine has this terrible vibration on my SW motech crash bar on low rmp. In the center front there is a pipe clamp which is causing the vibration because there is no rubber inside the clamp to decrease vibration between the left and right side of the crash bar. I have been trying and trying to find a fix for this like another clamp which has a rubber insert which I believe will resolve the vibration but with no success, any help?

Hello Arno, we are very sorry that you have had problems with our product. I have looked at the complaint documents and have not found any comparable case. We are not aware of the situation described. A rubber insert is not a bad idea. But unfortunately we don't have any in our range. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any further assistance from a distance. // DH

@@SW-MOTECH what is that bracket called? I see you have improved the design by making it two fixed points which screw together. But it seems that my (the old) 2016 design is with a clamp. The Sw clamp has broken now and I can't find the name of this product but I have seen it around where they do come with a rubber insert, would you suggest I rather go with your new design and weld a bracket in both sides to connect with bolts like your new design instead? No one seems to be able to help me and the crash bars spoil the ride atm.

Hi Arno. The "new" design will only fit 800 models from 2015-2017. We do have the clamp in stock in case you do need a replacment. Just send us an E-Mail with the request to [e-mail]

Hey @sullivanchiou6757, yes, we run several tests of our crash bars. We always try to find the best solution in case of a crash. We can ensure you, that the crash bars are tested under different conditions.

Hello Sabin, Thank you for your question. Basically, with protection products, every fall is different. The factors are decisive. Since things like the load and the angle of collision, but also the ground and the road are decisive, the bar can of course also break in the worst case. Different question: Any reason your product page for the Legend Gear LR3 Messenger Bag is no longer online? So if you ride for 4 hours each time you go out, your bars start to rust after 180 rides. If you ride twice a week that means they will start to rust in 90 weeks.
