I’ve had the 3:33am thing happen to me about 10 years ago. Saw figures in my room when I’d wake up or eyes watching me. Ended after I choked on some food and looked at the clock while choking and it was 3:33pm.

The brain changes wavelengths depending on consciousness. So awake, it's alpha or beta. When you're in bed and falling asleep, but not quite asleep, it's theta. When you're fully asleep and therefor in full subconscious, it's delta. Can think of theta as like the doorway or window connecting the conscious mind to the subconscious mind. This is why you can sometimes see hallucinations when you're half asleep. This is also why children see things adults don't. Imaginary friends, ghosts, etc. Because in the first 0-7 years of a humans life the brain operates primarily in theta wavelength, so the child learns everything with subconscious memory, before the conscious mind has developed. That begs the question, are they truly all just hallucinations? Or are there beings that operate/live in frequencies only visible to a Theta or Delta brain. As much as one wants to believe it's hallucinations, the other is entirely possible.
