Mel Brooks hired Richard Pryor to help write the script for his 1974 hit film, Blazing Saddles, and desperately wanted him to play the part of Black Bart as well. Pryor didn’t get the part because Warner Brothers couldn’t get insurance on him. But he still helped Mel Brooks write the film. So, obviously, he had no difficulty whatsoever with reading, since he went on to co-write one of the biggest comedy films of all time.

First - Pam Grier was a positive light that was very beautiful & accomplished. Talented, determined & a game-changer no doubt. Second - this video clip did not have to do the CUCK move of demeaning Richard Pryor to elevate Pam and to act stupid on why she never married. Now this story could have been true that Pam led Richard (but when the plot is always the same, ppl become suspicious & start questioning after the 3rd version of the same story).
