Re zeros villains and antagonists are really amazing. Someone asked Tappei, the writer of Re zero, how did he come up with such a wide cast of top tier villains. He simply answered this : "Life experiances and a lot of practice in writing". A lot of great villains are yet to appear :D Edit: also im sure we will see Geuse again sometime in the future, bcs we still dont know some stuff about him, like the reason for his obsession with Satella

I'm pretty sure his obsession with Satella was created by Pandora. As we saw Pandora can manipulate people's memories. So it's possible that his memories with Fortuna were replaced with Satella. During Season 1 in Episode 15 he blames Subaru for killing "her" saying things that foreshadowed what he did back then. He also cries during that scene which is the ONLY one where he cries about something not related to Satella.

We already know that actually. Remember the gospel? It’s similar to Echidna’s one which make Roswaal obsess with it. But Pandora’s one is not to learn or predict the outcome like Echidna.... It’s simply to manipulate people and reality the way Pandora want. She probably reads it to him every day and night about Satella and change his memory etc.

@@tuck295q where did we find out about the fact that Pandora created the deffective gospels? In my opinion something happened 400 years ago between Satella and Geuse and now Pandora uses his affection towards Satella to manipulate him. Geuse had somekind of connection with Flugel aswell, the sage who was deeply involved in sealing the witch. Also Geuse got the sloth witch factor from Flugel to guard it. Thats why he appologised before consuming it. But yea we cant know for sure. Maybe Geuse wasnt even alive exactly 400 years ago and he met Flugel after the sealing of Satella. We will have to wait to find out more about what really happened 400 years ago. Edit: sorry, now i remembered that Geuse was alive 400 years ago bcs he was meeting Echidna back then (as we saw in the Re zero break time 18th ep), so that means he was alive even before satella consumed the witches xD

Fortuna and Geuse definitely had some sort of past with Pandora, and simply seeing her made them fly into rage. That inhibited their ability to think critically about the situation. Fortuna was so angry she literally almost killed Emilia. Along with his anger Geuse was under the burden of the sloth factor which made it easier for Pandora to do what she did. Geuse had to cling to "love" as the reason why he didn't because it was too hard to accept his responsibility for part of the accident. Truly slothful displays from both of them

I really love Reactions, and I love Sub but one big reason why Sub reactions ABSOLUTELY suck is when they look away, up, down, and miss lines and then they end up getting confused and making wrong predictions based on stuff that they'd clearly know the answers to if they had been paying attention. Oh and the reactors that talk NON-stop to cover for youtube stuff, yeah I know YT sucks with some of those things but when a reactor is just constantly spewing words out to leave no gaps they aren't genuinely reacting they are just forcing themselves to talk over and over again and at least for me it totally ruins it. And those people usually miss a ton of stuff as well, and with a show as crucial dialogue heavy as ReZero it's so important to get every bit of information to understand it all.
