10:28 Xzibit did get involved in the Dr. Dre & Jermaine Dupri beef. After Dr. Dre dissed Jermaine Dupri on Eminem's song Say What You Say, Jermaine Dupri responded with a freestyle he jokingly called My Thought One Night where he disses Dr. Dre & Timbaland over beats from songs they produced such as Dr. Dre's song The Next Episode, Mary J Blige's song Family Affair, Missy Misdemeanor Elliott's song Get Ur Freak On & Aaliyah's song Try Again, Jermaine Dupri also dissed Eminem at the end of it. Then on DJ Kay Slay's mixtape Say What You Say, Eminem & Xzibit responded with a freestyle where Eminem disses Jermaine Dupri over the beat from the Eminem/Obie Trice/50 Cent song Love Me from the 8 Mile soundtrack and Xzibit disses Jermaine Dupri over the beat from the Clipse's song Grindin'. Xzibit & Eminem then dissed Jermaine Dupri in Xzibit's song My Name from Xzibit's album Man vs Machine and Jermaine Dupri dissed Xzibit in a freestyle over the beat from Young Gunz's song Can't Stop, Won't Stop Jermaine Dupri - My Thought One Night kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJW1qqx7hruHaaM Eminem & Xzibit - Freestyle kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3TaqZ-jmtR-epo Jermaine Dupri - Can't Stop, Won't Stop Freestyle kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYjCiIKqorRsaKM

No mention of Xzibit's beef with his crew Tha Alkaholiks. In 2001 industry rumors that Tha Alkaholiks and Xzibit were beefing. LL Cool J even said in his song Put Your Hands Up "I ain't faded by them hips, I split, just like Xzibit from Tha Liks (X)" Tha Alkaholiks member Tash dismissed the rumors and addressed LL Cool J's line, and said "Yeah, I heard that song, I don't know what he was smoking when he wrote that. X is still down. He's always going to be down. We're working on Tha Likwit Crew album right now. When people don't see you hangin' around a person you always been with, they try to start stuff." The next year in 2002 the beef started when Xzibit claimed that he could have gained fame without J-Ro and the rest of Tha Alkaholiks and Xzibit had also dissed Jermaine Dupri and King Tee. Then J-Ro dissed Xzibit with his song The X-Homie and in a Interview, J-Ro said "Xzibit gonna have to get the message. It's no way around that. It's all real stuff that actually happened, so he has no choice but to feel it. It's like scolding your kid or your nephew; sometimes you gotta just make it happen whether it's in front of anybody or not. I'm just letting him know that what he been doing ain't appreciated by the whole Likwit crew, or by the whole west coast." Likwit Crew member Defari weighed in on the beef and said "You wait til you are 27 years old and now you are Crippin'?, You ain't from one street. Just cause niggas from the set show you love, that doesn’t mean that you are from the set. It’s crazy because these niggas are so Hollywood with this shit and there are so many regular real niggas who ain't never banged, who are way more gangsta then these niggas. They goin bananas from bandannas. Niggas told me when I was a little kid ‘Don’t fuck with this shit.’ I used to tell dude on the road you not a Crip or a Blood. I ain't down with fake bangin', or bangin' period, fake or not." Xzibit said in interviews that they should be happy for him, but both J-Ro and Tash claimed that they are and it is Xzibit’s attitude towards them that is unsettling. The beef was squashed, and Tha Alkaholiks and Xzibit have since worked together on tracks again

Xzibit got caught up in Suge Knight's beef with Snoop Dogg in 2002. Suge Knight approached Xzibit in the club and asked him is he banging with Snoop Dogg and Xzibit said I’m not banging with him and I’m just doing music with him and supposedly Xzibit’s reasons were that he has a son to look out for. In a 2002 interview with The Source magazine, Xzibit said that he didn't want to be included in Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger's beef with Suge Knight. Xzibit said "Nobody gonna feed my 7-year-old if I get smoked behind some rap music...I wasn't there when Death Row started" Snoop Dogg was disappointed in Xzibit’s response but said he understands the son part. Snoop then said Xzibit doesn’t represent gangbanging and that Xzibit is not a gangbanger and dissed him in his song Pimp Slapp'd "I'm not Xzibit, you can't pull my hoe card" In 2002 Contrabandit spoke with Snoop Dogg to ask him about his diss song Pimp Slapp'd and when speaking on Xzibit, Snoop Dogg said "He don't represent me so I don't represent him. When it comes to Suge Knight he gets scared. I ain't never been scared of nobody or ask nobody to fight my beefs for me but if I'm down with you then I'm down with you 100% regardless and can't nobody make me stop being down with you. I love X for what he do as a musician, as a hip-hop artist but as far as him being down with me, he don't represent me. Suge Knight checked Xzibit at a club and asked him, "Nigga, what's up with you and Snoop Dogg?" And his comments was, "Oh, I only make records with them". Instead of saying, "Oh, that's my nigga. What's happenin'" He bowed all the way down. So that's the reason why I got offended. I respect the fact that you got a son and ain't nobody gonna take care of your son but you. You gotta be a man. That's why I say I don't hate him and I'm not mad at him. It's just he doesn't represent me. What I represent is this real Crip shit. From the heart and soul. Xzibit ain't a Crip and he ain't a gangbanger, so I couldn't expect him to do what he's not bred to do." In various interviews in 2002, Snoop Dogg had said that he found it hypocritical that his peers Dr. Dre, Xzibit and Eminem were dissing Jermaine Dupri, but they weren't dissing Suge Knight on record. Snoop Dogg told LA's Power 106, "Don't just gang up on the little man [Jermaine Dupri], diss the big man [Suge Knight] too. Don't do it half-way. Diss anything that's getting at you." In another interview Snoop Dogg was asked about where he was at with everybody like Xzibit going through diss tracks kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaacmYCJmsRqbpY Interviewer: "Snoop I know that you gotta a relationship with everybody that, that's goin' through this. This little so called diss right now. Snoop Dogg "Mm-hmm" Interviewer: "Wit Xzibit doin' that man, where does that put you at, in the middle of everything, if you are in it" Snoop Dogg: "I'm just watchin' right now but like I said I. I don't really like how everybody gangin' up on the little man, you know what I'm sayin', but. I'm a little man too and I always come out on top, you know what I'm sayin', when I get ganged up on but my. Suggestion to everybody is talk shit to the big man too. Cause he smashin' on y'all and y'all ain't sayin' nuttin' to him. But y'all smashin' on JD, so if you gon' say sumthin', say sumthin' about everybody. Who gettin' at you. Keep it fully don't do it half way. And that's just my suggestion, you know, but hey I'm just watchin', you know. Ain't nobody said none foul about me cause they know"

Really enjoy these videos. Taking back to my youth and some of these artist I hadn’t really thought about what happened just thought some retired. Didn’t actually know what happened to X. Crazy to think he practically went Broke. But also a really inspiring decision he took paying back his debt. Really respect that. But one thing I have wondered about why did he decide not to continue working with Dre. The whole Aftermath click was golden back then. Pure dominance in the rap scene back then

12:07 Xzibit started the beef with The Game when Xzibit said The Game was overrated. The Game responded and said “I hate Xzibit. His time’s come and gone, and he had no reason to hate on me, he said I was overrated. Now I’m platinum in two-and-a-half weeks in America. Him, along with a string of other rap artists, are pretty much bullshit.” Xzibit then responded to that and said “I think that The Game is a young dude that is definitely coming into a serious game and its hard to say man, I don’t think the dude really understands the ramifications of really talking out of turn you know, I mean I don’t come from speaking on other things, I come from just actions and I don’t know, I mean if he has a problem with me I'm not hard to find. I think that hip hop is going to the degree of the WWE and when people feel as though they need to feel personified by their image and what not, but I'm a real dude, I’m a father first and I don’t think he understands that when you are dealing from a level of realness that all that shit don’t matter, it's like everybody’s shooting and everybody can be touched. I just hope that where he’s coming from is from a genuine place and if he really has those genuine feelings towards me, he needs to come speak and address that cause I’m not hard to find.” Also one of The Game's Black Wall Street artists dissed Xzibit in The Game's song Our Turn "Soft ass rappers more pussy than my bitches. Fuck that, y'all more pussy than Xzibit"

The very first time I listened to Xzibit was watching the video "Paparazzi". To me he sounded ferocious! Imo his first 3 albums are my favorites. The album of his that I didn't like at all was "Weapons of mass destruction". I only liked 2 songs👎!! I'm very surprised it went platinum. That's pure mind boggling to me🤯😵‍💫!!! "Full circle" and "Napalm" were pretty good albums. Quite a journey he went through after pimp my ride got cancelled! It's good that him and Pac squashed the misunderstanding before he passed away! The passing of his first born was devastating! I couldn't imagine losing a child that way! It's tough AF to have the strength to slowly carry on! Divorce is a mf!! No joy going through that! It's mentally and financially draining! Glad that he's bounced back from all that drama he went through in recent years. Since he's slowly making a comeback to music I'm hoping that the material will be as good as the first 3 albums. Best of luck to him and God bless!

I noticed that too. Tupac clearly said all "I want is money F the fame I´m a simple man". That one little detail makes all the difference because Tupac wasn´t fame hungry but more concerned about making money so that he can take care of his family and close friends. He became famous purely by speaking truth but it did not make him rich since He sat in jail while having the number one album in the U.S. but couldn´t afford the money needed for bail.
