Ever wonder how our mannequins are made? There are many steps that include neutralizing, bathing, conditioning, drying, hackling, mask makeup, implantation, and much more. This carefully executed process gives you the most realistic educational experience possible!
Pivot Point mannequins are manufactured in an SA8000 facility that guards against slave and child labor, provides the workers with a healthy and safe working environment, respects the rights of workers to join unions, and practices zero tolerance for discrimination. Human rights are inherent in all of us and every individual is entitled to enjoy the same rights without discrimination.

Why are the Afro mannequins sold for more when the hair has simply been permed to make it appear like it’s type 4 hair texture?

Because it’s an extra step in production that takes more time and labor. The same reason why many things cost more than others.

Non-remy hair is used for all educational mannequins. The hair is treated to remove the rough edges of the cuticle to prepare it for use.

I wish they would make black mannequins with shoulders. Why do all the white mannequins get the best attributes? Not fair. Even that new black mannequin with the super long hair is like $350 USD. STILL NO SHOULDERS!! WHYYYY?
