I got burgled just before Christmas!! They took random silly things worth nothing! They missed a brand new laptop worth £800 and a £500 tablet and £1100 in cash! They were obviously not very good 😕 they also stole my car which they parked outside their house and was found within 2 hours😂

you'll be lucky if someone turns up to check for fingerprints within four days in east lothian, and thats after two of the clowns that turn up on the night incinuate you robbed your own house, took them three hours to ask if we had insurance. waste of time even involving them.

The police can and have simply recorded crimes under a different label to then say “it’s been reduced by 50%” so a “burglary” gets recorded as “theft”.

Similarly a legless old pensioner is also flimsy invitation to butrglars, and so is no dogs indoors an invitation! . But that is no excuse for burglars to break in!. It maybe barbaric but if the law is changed and implemented whereby a burglar has his little finger chopped of no place will be burgled even if entire door is flimsy glass

These docu's are very useful fo potential criminals who learn hhow to avoid getting caught. For rest if us we get an insight on how they work but it still does not solve the problem of burglaries car and other huge crimes that never get solved. Most of the time unless someone is immediate danger it all ends up as insurance payout

You would need computers that store all plates from all states 😲 ouch big big big servers needed . They are brilliant here. The police pick up so many other crimes on from just picking up the plates. I think there are a lot of countries with similar systems . We also have a huge amount of cameras all over the place 😂😲🙈🙈🙈 BIG BROTHER😂

Ash these police programs are abit of propaganda tbh, making out the police are on top of things and will catch you. I’ve seen the stats you are on about. On the over hand if you have no CCTV descriptions or inventory of stolen goods what have the police got to go on.. I’ve had bikes stolen before but didn’t bother reporting it as I could barely give an accurate description which is my fault.. I’ve produced photographic inventory with serial numbers now..

@@georgegalpin7352 George yes having records etc helps but what my point is that inspite of huge numbers of quality CCTVs everywhere police are not able to convict anyone. Take example of stolen vehicles (that cant be hidden in pockets!) which goes through so many CCTVs before ending up in Uganda, yet police say case closed no suspect identified. See www.rivervaleleasing.co.uk/blog/posts/most-stolen-cars-uk-theft/ to see how many vehicles (ones you cannot easily hide in your pocket) are not detected, but if you enter eg congestion zone without paying you are caught instantly!! It also says out of 5 stolen vehicles inly 2 are found! When you look at number if trucks (again something you cant hide in your garage!) going missing without trace its mind boggling

Samsng Device the police just work on intelligence and pot luck. Any crim with half a brain changes the plates atleast and maybe car, don’t steal them get them printed, if you can’t fund hiring or buying a car and cost of plates every so often with the crime you are committing you ought to give up

Canadian Here. Why Don't The British Use A Alarm System? You Have Got A Key Pad Like A Telephone And You Can Arm And Un Arm Your Alarm System. Even When I Am In My 6 1/2 Room Apartment I Have My Alarm System On From My Key Pad I Can Talk Back And Froth To The Alarm System Centre Office. After The Alarm Goes Off The Central Office In Toronto Can Listen And Hear And Will Say We Have Dispatched The Police.I Have Got BELL Canada Alarm System.... Have They Got ADT In The U.K.?

It doesnt matter, in UK there is excuse for everything. Burglaries are low priority, sometimes as a formality they send finger printer guy after 2days put case "under investigation" for 1month then juzt close case since insurance will pay out in full. Moreover burglars are usually armed which would be risky for police used to sitting in patrol cars most of the time

These systems are available here but very expensive and most burglars cover there identity so no amount if alarms or cctv deters them as there unidentifiable.
