Never bought a car because of it's resale value. I buy them because I like them, and the Bentley is no exception, love the car and it's been so much fun to drive. Will I care what the resale is when I trade it in next year, NO. it is what it is, and if you can afford this car, you have the money to get what you want, not for an investment, but for the fun of driving it. Great if it's a good investment, but who the heck cares if it's not.

They don't underperform in every kind of way. 0-60 in 3.5 seconds as a 5,000lb car is beyond impressive. That's porsche numbers at that weight

The new Continental GT S is better, same appearance package but with the lighter V8 for better handling, the factory sports exhaust will sound better than the W12, and the W12's depreciate faster because of their higher running costs

it's an 82 lb difference, that doesn't make a difference anymore than sitting a child in the front seat would. Also who cares about depreciation if that's the main concern then skip the bentleys and supers and only buy Lexus or Bugattis lol

That new GTC Speed is gorgeous! I think the only thing that could be improved yet is the heft of the car, considering it is a Sport GT, like the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. That is a sort of challenge, I’m aware, because all the luxury, but in my mind Bentley could put some effort into the matter.

Fully agree! Been to Crew when the new line was introduced but backseats hadn‘t changed. Bentley’s Interieur is the best of the industry but the GT’s fondseats kept me away fm ordering. Instead of wasting energy on crystal- appliances focus on comfort backseats, GT‘s mainproblem. Neither kids nor a Chihuahua wud fit. Its my favourite longdistance car, the new Speed has a motor now! but I had to turn to the Lusso, the GT remains a 2-seater. Take the seats out or just slim the frontseats, they are too bulky anyways.

Nah, I'd rather have this to be honest. Better performance, far better looking exterior and arguably better looking interior as well. Rolls Royce is the Ferrari of the luxury cars and you overpay significantly for the badge and like 5-10% more comfort.

Well the quality at bentley is way up, Rolls Royce ruined its sporty heritage and because of Lamborghini and Bugatti Bentley Can't bring out any real light super cars but they sell the GT at Aventador prices in larger numbers

Argue that this value will be relative to the broader market rather than the car market. $100K over on a TurboS or GTC will win based on fear and comfort over pragmatism. TurboS curve down compared to GTC curve down feels more predictable. Your logic will likely prove me wrong.
