Hal is VERY powerful and unfortunately very underrated. But recent Hal has gotten even more powerful! With just his ring he was able become “will” and fight Sinestro who at the time had the power of parallex and the fear engine. Hal was also able to fly so fast he almost caused a speed force singularity and he beat general Zod on a planet that had two yellow suns.

The greatest feat that shows just how powerful Hal really is has to be when he "overrode" the programming of the ring to kill a guardian. His will power was so strong in that moment that he killed Krona, one of the guardians that created the rings.

Hal Jordan fought the entire Sinestro corps and Sinestro-Parallax (while the Sinestro corps was powered up and Sinestro had the power of Parallax at 1000%). No other lantern is this powerful at regular levels. Hal is also insanely powerful as Parallax, God of light and as a Black Lantern.

Hal didnt really fight 1000% Parallax amped Sinestro though... he basically just said "nah, Im done with you" and one shotted Sinestro. God I love those moments where Hal just ends it. Against Krona, Volthoom, and even Zero Hour Hal against Deimos during Convergence he just keeps getting those moments where he's like "I couldve ended it immediately but I wanted to let the other heroes get some time in". I really want Hal to go back to being a Black for a while, there was so much opportunity teased there. Kyle and Hal teaming up as Life and Death wouldve been awesome. Although I'm happy where we currently are! That "alley rat" scene was brutal.

This was the New Earth Superman, not the New 52 version, but still. GL very rarely uses more refined powers of the ring, like duplicating effects that Supes is vulnerable to: like red sun radiation, gravity weapons, maybe even a little magic or psychic power, not to mention of course creating a bit of kryptonite.

A few really impressive things taht were forgotten. The time Hal went Back in tike to fight and beat HIMSELF while he was amped by Parrallax. The time Hal made a portal to the Phantom Zone. The time Hal created a ring out of his own willpower and killed a Guardian. The time when Hals willpower was so much he took over Nekron while Hal was a Black Lantern ( basically even with his Body, Mind and Soul under Nerkons control he still reversed it) The time when he kept his consusness while attached to the Spectre. The time he survived fusing with the Oversoul (aka Hals willpower was greater than entire Muiltiverses) The time when Hal beat Yellow Lantern Sinestro... Who was fused with Parrallax, the aspect of feal that ampped Sinestro to ungodly levels. And a whole lot of other times. Hal is pretty fucking powerful

Kyle Rayner from rebirth is a green lantern because that's an alternate version of Kyle(different timeline) My theory of course. Kedar Padgur really powerful, he has the power to potentially nuke a planet and on his monarch state he can trade blows with a bloodlusted superman prime and is a multiversal threat

Captain Atom is strong enough to nuke universes. He usually limits his powers immensely though. When he decided that the multiverse needed better protection he became the super villain Monarch. As Monarch he was strong enough that 3 Supermen (one being vastly stronger than the others), 3 Wonder Women, 3 Green Lanterns and 3 Flashes couldnt harm him. He even was strong enough to toy around with SUPERMAN PRIME, mocking him the whole fight and only losing because he underestimated Prime and Prime kinda committed suicide to win. Superman Prime (who is strong enough to physically destroy universes) got knocked into a coma for 1000 years. Captain Atom got amnesia for a little bit and went back to being a good guy. That should tell you a bit of how strong he is. Theres also Captain Adam, who is like Captain Atom fused with Dr. Manhattan times infinity. At one point he's reading a comic of himself, gets to the page that we are reading, looks up at the audience and starts talking to us. But anyway, the whole Captain Atom type of character archetype are some of the strongest guys in DC.
