Very impressive. I still think Superman, without holding back, would beat Shazam. The feats back this up for the most part I think. Plus Superman doesn't have a limit, whereas even Zeus has a limit. Superman has never been shown in Canon to have a limit on his speed, strength, or durability. Maybe his stamina has a limit, but mostly the writers limit Superman for plot reasons, forgetting what he is truly capable of.

Joe Kent We’re talking about the same Superman right? Post-crisis, main universe Superman? I’m curious where you got that from. It’s true that he’s more than just a character and that I know. It’s been stated by both screwattack’s death battle and on variant comics (by Arris Quinones). The whole, “he’s an ideal”, “he’s not meant to lose”. There’s also at least a couple versions of Superman where they basically have infinite power. Which the only ones I know of are pre-crisis Superman and cosmic armor Superman.

Except Shazam isn't Superman's equal. Shazam doesn't have the feats and the Zeus ability is being stretched a bit... To know he using it or not using it, it would have to be indicated on panel...otherwise, one would have to assume. I have yet to see a legit debate forum that puts Shazam the Victor against Superman...I said legit. Not one where the Shazam fanboys show up and crap all over the place. Any major feat Shazam has done, Superman can match or do better...I like Shazam, but Superman is just too OP...he ONLY loses if kryptonite is used or the writers have a stupid moment. Oh and Doomsday would slaughter Shazam on the first try.
