Vampire Survivors Part 18 - the redemption run. I didn't even plan to get six evolved weapons, but I'll take the opportunity when it presents itself. Wouldn't it be funny if I still lost, due to this being green acres on hyper mode with no powerups.

Duplicator + empty tome + one of the characters that give 3 projectiles + meta upgrades + either meatball wand or life steal whip = perma cast abilities. I didn’t think it was possible, but because the way they cast one at a time and the pure amount of projectiles you have, it’s just like the most op thing ever (not the most challenging but still really cool)

Add in one stipulation, if he draws Skull O Mania then he has to choose it no matter what else is avaliable. Even if he will clearly die by not picking some other item or he is only 1 upgrade away from an evolution. That should be an okay challenge I think. :p

My favorite build the other day was to play as the dude that starts with King Bible. He gets +40% projectile speed and duration. Then you go for La Borra with Candelabrador (extra projectile size) , Bracer (extra projectile speed), Empty Tome (shorter attack cooldown), and Spell Binder (extra projectile duration). Bonus points for Duplicator to get those extra projectiles, though the damage from Spinach is objectively better. The La Borra puddles are so big, they center on your character pretty quickly, and they last so long that their effects all overlap. You end up with tons of them all pooled up on top of you, and it makes you look like a spirit bomb.

Unlocked red death recently. Honestly? Bible dude is still the most OP. Getting triple uptime on vespers is crazy. Doing 50% curse and bible dude gets OP very quickly with just a level one tome, spellbinder, and a few levels in bible.

I wish they would add a new map that is just pure darkness and only the grim reaper is available to go there and light up a really small surface (for ex the largest garlic can effect an area that can be the light circle) and that level is just full shit load of souls and the hardest enemies are the 7 deadly sins and you need 1 hour to attract the attention of lucifer himself and the next 1-2 you are in risk of dying and 2-3 is just guaranteed death (dying to lucifer or being killed by him)

Random comment, but got a challenge idea for difficulty. I haven't gotten past the first stage with it. Green acres hyper mode, no power ups besides max curse, and you have to pick Lama. (for extra bonus, you could force yourself to pick skull o' maniac, but idk if the challenge is possible at that point)

Isn’t the Attractorb just a glorified crown? The crown becomes useless when you’re max leveled, but the attractorb is equally bad when you’re maxed out

the orb is still useful because not only does it give you a higher pick up range for items as well so it's easier to get healed without having to cut through enemies but it is also an item required for an evolved weapon

I think it would be interesting if there was a mode that caused enemies to not drop xp. You'd need to get upgrades from the environment and from the chests that elites drop, but at the same time the health of enemies wouldn't scale.

A tip to make it more mysterious if you win or not: add a section at the end of either blank screen or something to make the video longer so you can’t tell if you will win or not based on time remaining. There’s probably some issue with this that I don’t know, but it’s my two cents.

The Damage & DPS numbers on both the Knife and the Magic Wand are rather Low. A Fire Wand instead of either one of those would have made you even stronger I'd say. Nice run though, will try as well once I get the Death-character (only started 4-5 days ago)

Pickup radius is useless when you can get a somehow like ability that collects all orbs not limited onscreen but the WHOLE MAP think of it as an ability in btd6 you have the exact money to buy 1 farmer and you place it then there say goodbye to that farmer since its not gonna be able to be reused again but the monkey money is the pillars he destroys and the farmer is the ability you can get alot of farmers by saving up mm aka destroying pillars so yeah its pretty much useless to go farmers unless you are not going banks or market places or just not a farm player

@@leafyleaves632 You're wrong. You can never guarantee an orb to spawn, and the enemies progressively scale to become more difficult as the clock runs on. If you reach a point where you have to kite the enemies to kill them, attractorb allows you to collect the exp without needing to double back, and allows you to continue scaling actively. If you don't have attractorb, you have to run all over the place, dodging and diving through enemies to pick up scraps of exp. Aside from the obvious OP passives like spinach, empty tome, and duplicator, I would say attactorb is one of the strongest passives. So many people look at is as an unnecessary quality of life item that occupies a slot, but the truth is that time is very valuable in this game, which is one of the two things attractorb is good for. It saves time via reducing the amount of kiting you need to do, and increasing the amount of exp you can collect easily, and it saves health by allowing you to collect exp that would otherwise be lost behind the enemies. It's even better the higher your curse stat is, as a result. It basically keeps you covered as the enemies scale.
