He probably already has been investigated. The news we are now getting was probably known to MI5 and other agencies long ago. The question is, why is it being released now? Andrew was the queen's favourite, and so it wouldn't have been released during her lifetime. I believe that there is a serious dispute between Charles and Andrew at the moment which might account for the timing. Don't misunderstand me, Andrew is an entitled fool and a not very nice man.

It's not up to the Royals to have persons investigated. Government security should see to that and inform the royals. In addition, allegedly, the tenant may be in breach of this requirement, possibly because they don't have the funds to fulfil the obligation. Controlling the purse strings may not actually be "tough" after all.

First, lease provisions regarding upkeep of the premises are not objective and involve subjective judgements that can be debated in court, as opposed to payment of rent which is a totally objective provision. Second, it is naive to think one ever has control over someone who is in desperate circumstances and otherwise has nothing to lose, as the desperate one is liable to do virtually anything that would cause severe embarrassment to the family at best and severe damage to the family at worst. If one thinks Harry’s book was not good for the RF, Andrew could reveal 64 years of truly damaging information. Just imagine a book filled with truly vindictive info.

If PA has been making money on the quiet as a non working royal, not sure he is in the wrong to do so. His daughters earn their own money as non working royals. He may well have looked for ways to earn extra monies on the side when he had to steo down as a working royal. He us basucally expected to earn his own money. It may be impossiable to prove as almost four years has gone by dince he stepped down from being a working royal. How van one prove then when he earned monies as a working royal. Bottom line- he's desparate for money. This all comes from the fact that Charles is literally a billionaire, and was a billionaire, while he was Price of Wales. Lessons to be kearned from this, dont envolve royals in negotiations if business and trade deals. It has a political and commercial nature and riyals cant be involved in political issues or commercial undertakings.
