People who say that Priyettan is just dependent on Neeraj Vora so I can say that Neeraj Vora ke dialogues acche hote they par jo itni techniques batai hain that is the skill of Priyettan. Priyadarshan had a successful career in South Cinema and even won National Award for Kaanchivaram and went to Final Round of 74th Golden Globe Award for Sila Samayangalil(available on Netflix by the name Sometimes) without Vora while Vora had flop films as a director (except Phir Hera Pheri) like Shortcut (remake of a Malayalam film Udayananu Tharam) and he had successful films in Hindi without Vora also and name mispronounce was also in Priyadarshan's South films like Oppam and Appatha and also his films like Poochakkoru Mookkutti, Minnaram and Boeing Boeing had scenes of eccentric names of characters. P.S. No hate for Mr. Vora as it is not easy to make people laugh while suffering sorrows throughout life (his wife died when he was at the peak of career) but Priyadarshan also deserve respect instead of trolling

I always felt that Indian film critics never realised Priyadarshan's value. Another thing I have noticed how efficient and quick he was in making movies. He could make 2-3 movies in a year. It's unthinkable in this day and age when our filmmakers take longer than Christopher Nolan to make their films, even romantic comedies.

My father used to say that priyadarshan actually never wrote a script while making the originals. He would just dictate the scene to actors and then the actors would bring in the chaos. This changed while he remade them into hindi where he started carefully placing everything. This could be the result of the success of hera pheri.

Yaa, it is true as he just made the scenes in the original version of Khatta Meetha (Vellanakalude Nadu) and made it whatever Sreeniettan told him, like in the road roller scene he said to actors, that the road roller is out of control and you just have to do anything to stop it and this is how the iconic road roller scene was made.😂🤣 I am not a Malayali but I am very fascinated with his Malayalam films, Thanks to Symbiosis University which suggested me to see his Malayalam films when I was trying to get admission in Mass Communication.

Thank you for addressing for Priyettan's daayan and chhipkali obsession.😂😂 When I was a toxic fan of him (now reformed cause of a good friend) so I used to think of his ex wife feeling like he was trolling her, though my mom said that he used to show Lissy dead, did he wanted to kill her for real and Chhipkali was referring to her name Lizzy🤣 On the contrary it was disgusting thing of Lissy to compare him with a corpse when he was going through a bad phase but Oppam broke her mouth.👍 I even noticed at 39:53 that unki cap par bhi Lizard bani thi, seriously he was more obsessed with Lizards than Lissy.😂😂

I feel like whatever Priyadarshan and neeraj vohra is doing is trying to make the scene as realistic as possible. Be it overlapping of dialogue or muh bna k baat karna because that is where the humor lies. One will only laugh when he finds the situation in the movie really close to real life. That's all the efforts are. Like memes they only work if they are really relevant to real life.

What you just said is a work of a director and even very old Malayalam films of Priyadarshan had this overlapping of dialogues etc. Actually what Neeraj did was to translate Malayalam dialogues to Hindi in his flair of language. Even the dialogues were ditto. Me knowing both Malayalam and Hindi can assure you that. Actually some stupid youtubers(not this guy) are misunderstanding that the reason behind Priyan's success is Neeraj Vora. It is not true.
