So glad to circle back to your channel after a long time away, Tony! Also, can I just say that the gear you have is really eyecatching? Because it really is; it made me more alert and observant to each of your movements! 😁 As for a question, how viable do you think POV sparring/training videos are? Would you consider doing something like that in the future (e.g. "You" spar with/get in the ring with Tony Jeffries for a few rounds)?
@Tony_Jeffries3 ай бұрын
Hey mate, Thank you -- Yeah the POV is decent for some peoople I did it during covid, but to be honest I'm not a huge fan of it, and dont know how effective it really can be, but yeah, it will help for alot of people, good luck mate and thanks for coming back to the chanel

Hello again, Tony! Asking again...ever heard of having to punch with your hands in a L or U shape...not a fully closed fist? I feel my wrist "breaks" SO MUCH EASIER if I make a tightly closed fist. I have much more stability using the L or U shape. I imagine this decreases the power I can impact with, but it feels better and doesn't leave my wrists aching. Thoughts, sir?
@MonstaaBoii3 ай бұрын
imo you need to build of strength in your wrists by hitting the bag and doing knuckle press ups, this use to happen to me when I just started boxing. Wrap more of the wrist wraps around your wrist than your knuckles and punch a bit lighter for a few weeks, It's a good chance to work on form, footwork and technique as well good luck bro
@Tony_Jeffries3 ай бұрын
no mate, never heard of this, if you dont have a tight fist, you can damage hands/wrist.
@lightified38153 ай бұрын
What I've heard is that you need to create outward pressure with your fist, like you're holding a piece of glass when clenching your fist.
