Ali had one weakness, short guys who could hook. This is why a 21 year old Tyson would be a legitimate threat to him. Otherwise, he beats just about everybody else, and don't underestimate his ability to intimidate people before the bell (like a young Tyson). Holyfield would have given Ali a great fight, he was a modern Ken Norton. Bowe and Lewis might have overwhelmed him with size and power, but Ali was the total package.

Usyk is proof that Ali would box circles around modern heavies.. ali is a similar height and weight in his prime but faster hands AND feet with way more power also want as vulnerable to the body

Mike would definitely beat Ali. Mike is like Frazier on crack and Ali Could barely beat Frazier (won twice, lost one. But that last fight was as close as it gets). The only things Frazier has more of than Mike is toughness and heart.

Mike Tyson has a very individualistic character that is above and beyond when it comes to winning and losing, It's all about the moolah at the end of the day and choice. I do not think one punch will do it ,seriously.

It's hard to say, Ali was a fighter that adapted styles of fighters in the past. His head movements and moves to hand speed was characteristics of earlier fighters. He studied films of past fighters, noticed successful fighters adapted when something didn't work.

Nothing happens to Tyson's legacy. But Paul will be remembered as either the one that beat up an old man or the punk that thought he was tough enough to beat and lost to a 60 year old Tyson

Tyson Fury is not 6"9. I think he's 6"7 tops. Look up pictures of him with Magic Johnson who's also listed as 6"9 and then look at pictures of Magic with Larry Bird, who is also listed as 6"9.

Ali would absolutely dominate today the only era I think he struggles in is in the 80s to 90s era. Ali personifies ahead of his time. We have yet to see a heavyweight move like him and have the speed he had in terms of reflexes and overall agility.

i think first and foremost, Ali was an intelligent boxer. Everybody has a style, but adaptability is crucial. Also, let consider the style of these modern day fighters and how they fight - compared to how Ali fought

You didn’t mention how Tyson fury hasn’t been in the ring with the best of the best in his era…. So far the only one that Tyson has beaten that can be called one of today’s best heavyweight boxers is Deonte wilder. And it could be argued that he’s probably the least skilled out of the top guys in the last 10 years or so…. And wilder also can’t claim to have beaten the toughest opponents in his time.. Ali on the other hand faced every single person to be considered one of the top boxers at the time he was fighting. And that was during 2 or 3 decades… Ali caught and beat them all… no one can say that in today’s heavyweight era… maybe Joshua has the right to say he has faced the most top guys out there but he lost to usyk 2 times…. I’d say Ali beats them all.

I won't say that Ali would beat everybody today but there are three things to consider, 1) there still hasn't been a faster heavyweight than Ali, 2) he had a better chin than most maybe even all of them, and 3) Ali could go 15 rounds easy whereas none of today's fighters have the stamina to do so because they don't have to. They train to go 12. They're also too big to keep up with Ali. Ali was a very intelligent fighter. He would make these guys chase him tiring them out in the later rounds. Now none of this guarantees victory for Ali but it is an advantage.

When Ali fought Ernie Terrell who was 6'6 and how Ali was slipping his punches, he was called the octopus because how he would grab his opponents, and how Ali counter that, and how Ali would grab, and control Liston it was something how he did it. Muhammad Ali was called The Greatest for a reason.

If Jake Paul knocks out Mike Tyson, it will say a man can knock out a retired champion who is 25 years younger than that champion. If the younger generation is that stupid to NOT realize the idiocy of this, then will be deserving in 20 years for everyday youngsters to be kicking their butt in the street (former champions or not) “Whatsoever a man (or generation) sows that will they also reap”

I'll let Ali answer: "Who would win brother, that's not hard to tell, I'd outclass them suckers, from the very first bell. No modern fighter would ever whup me, When I float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. Neither Usyck, A.J or Tyson Furee Ain't gonna land on what they can't see. Any of those chumps might be the latest, But I am Ali - Simply THE GREATEST.

Sports science doesn't win you fights. Being a born natural fighter wins you fights, sports science is simply a tool for fighters to use. You can talk diet, but Ali was capable to fight for 15 rounds with plenty left at the last bell. Some fighters struggle to go 10 rounds. As for size: Usyk was a cruiserweight fighting below 200lbs. Ruiz is 5ft11". Ali was 6ft3" and at his best was 212ibs. Ali fought several who were bigger than him, and beat them all. Hasim Rackman was smaller than Lewis and ko'd Lewis with one punch. Now tell me Ali wasn't big enough.
