Did you spray PPG on this one? If so, why? and how did you like it vs MW or TK?
@bathtubrenew6 ай бұрын
Pitthane ultra is a great coating, just very very slow. I still prefer mw and tk for speed of application.

What’s the reason for you doing it in parts?
@bathtubrenew6 ай бұрын
Great question, they only had one bathroom, I didn’t want them to go over night with out a working toilet in the house. When this is the situation, we do it in two sections and put the toilet in at the end of the 1st day. 2nd day we do the other portion.
@urielmarrufo35996 ай бұрын
Ok thanks for the clarification. Do you take the toilet off yourself or make the client do so?

What was the first and second bondo you used to fill the holes?

Do you ever get fisheye when you spray over the red? Its odd. Half the time i dont but sometimes it does fisheye on me. So i pick my battles where i use it.

Much faster and more professional to just replace those 2 tiles. Not difficult at all to pop those out
@bathtubrenew6 ай бұрын
Logically you would think, these older bathrooms the tile is built to withstand www3 and beyond, you pop a tile you break other ones around it, over years of experience, this way in the video is much faster and easier, with some practice you can’t tell which ones were filled.

I pop tiles from wet bed installs all the time. I have to disagree. Remove grout tap center of tile chip it out. 7-10 min repair. By the way Professional Tub guy here 31yrs in business

@@martinjann3562 In most situations I would agree with you 100%, but in south western Ontario these tile jobs where done by older tile setters from Italy in the 1960’s, those guys back then had some mad skills, your not popping any tiles off that wall from the wet bed. Over 15 years doing this, I’ve tried about 50 times before giving up to fill in the gap with fillers.

@bathtubrenew I'm in Philadelphia nothing but wet bed tile 11/2- 2" thick on the walls.
