As painter for over a decade, if you know what your doing that room would be completly primed and 2 coated in 6 hours with brush and rolller. 6 hours to allow dry time between coats. Total work time would only be about 2 maybe 3 hours. Also you must back roll the entire prime coat to push the primer into every inch of the sheet rock.

Coudnt of said it better myself,that sprayer may have its place on some projects(maybe a building with no power that you have to spray but il stick with airless or old fashion roller

And clean up is toss the roller and rinse out the brush. Like 1-2 minutes.

Handyman, as much as I imagine you already know this but just use a 18” roller. You can paint a room extremely fast. Cut in a full bedroom in 20 mins and have it all rolled out with the 18” in 15 minutes. Anywho, awesome video man. Looking great.

Ya, it takes longer to clean those things that it does to paint it by hand.

I agree. Until you hit your mid 50s, and your neck and shoulders scream in pain when using an 18" roller for more than 5 mins. Especially on the ceiling.

I've used the battery Graco hand held sprayer and they are finicky also. When it works, witch is most of the time it works fantastic.

Had an old Wagner and used Flotrol instead of thinning and was pleased with the results.

I have the two types, the handheld one I use for stains, the larger one has a hose the can go into a 1gal up to a 5gal paint container.

Handyman, in my area contractors would use dollar store rattle cans in "really white" and tell you it provides the most luxurious finish

Pretty cool sprayer. I use a graco. I always think why not use the corded. Then I end up with a battery powered tool. So I’m sure eventually I’ll do the same with sprayers.

IMHO batteries are to dang heavy. Okay to use on small areas, but nothing too large otherwise it gets tiring to hold up.

For a large job like a whole house, I could see where that makes sense. For something like that small room you are working on, the time and pain in the arse spent prepping and cleaning don’t justify the efficiency.

That looks like it would work for small projects but you want to be able to pump from a 5 gallon otherwise you have to keep refilling. I have a little Wagner handheld and it’s great for small stuff.
