I mean for a general tips video, this video is great. But I wouldn’t say this is advanced knowledge. Also it’s not really specific to zyra. It’s just general information that really any support can utilize. If you want specifically zyra tips I would recommend watching melyn streams. He’s a zyra one trick in master tier. You can ask him any question about zyra and him and the community will always give pointers! Myself included! :)

8:45 I usually destroy that blastcone, but the ward is still really useful (yesterday against Kayn...). I advise to roam if the enemy midlaner has low mobility. You can at least get a flash out. Of course, mostly when your adc is not on lane. Useful tips, keep up!

So I know the video is fairly old, but Comet on Zyra has a huge, HUGE benefit over Aery that everyone seems to overlook or not even realize. Comet CD is reduced by ability hits; Single Target: 20%, AoE: 10%, DoT: 5%. Zyra's plants count as SINGLE TARGET hits for the cooldown reduction. You trigger it RIDICULOUSLY often; especially if you enrage the plants with the ultimate.

I usually play zyra dark harvest ( and I'm gold 3 ) but when should I play comete, electrocute or dark harvest?

Dark Harvest - if you want to carry late game and you're against squishy champs without sustain. Arcane Comet - if you're against tanks. Electrocute - if laning against healers or sustain champs.

I pretty much only go for comet, its usually really good vs any team and is less specific. Also, always helps lv 1 and 2 with a lot of poke so that you usually get lv2 first and poke some more to get early advantage

I got aftershock vs a leona/thresh/etc, electrocute vs soraka/nami/sona.. and comet anything else. Never seen her with dark harvest

DH if you feel you can carry. Comet for poke. Electrocute for all in. Basically just know who you’re playing against. Hook champs like thresh blitz or pyke electrocute is great because it’s a very volatile lane. Either you’re killing them or they’re killing you. So you might as well get out as much damage as possible. Sustain lane is also good for electrocute, however sometimes you’ll get those players who just sit behind their adc and heal/shield. In those cases DH is pretty good. But since you can’t really know that for sure, electrocute is a safe bet. For tank supports poke is generally better. You can’t do enough damage to all in and DH isn’t always reliable. Again DH is for if you’re certain you can win lane/if you just want to have fun lol

Arcane comet is simply the best for laning, as the early game poke can determine how the rest of the lane plays out. The others simply don't have the lane impact as comet.

Urāi you better get electocute always. It will be applied always with 1e 2 w. it cannot be dodged & i thibk it deals more dmg + no reaction time for a heal compared to comet.

Why not electrocute - i find comet damage to be too low and negligible.

But Comet has a lot lower cd and it's better at poking in lane (especially against tanks). For Electrocute you need *3 different attacks* that means 3 different attacks from 3 plants or a skill with 2 plants to proc it while you can just proc Comet with just a single plant's attack. Comet is also an AoE too so you can deal dmg to multiple enemies if they're grouped.

you can play zyra with, comet to poke the enemy, aery if you want more pokes with AA+skills , electrocute for a burst dmg or dark harvest for a great late game and 1 shot
