That's it. Licence revoked! :D Great video, I always was curious how short a runway actually must be to operate. Kinda reminds me of the Lufthansa 737-200 in Heligoland in 1974. They did not land, but did an unauthorized touch and go on the 384m runway. Apparently, the captain could keep his job, but was degraded to FO for a few years.

737s could technically operate on bush airstrips if they had a solution for rocks getting into the engines. In xp11 i added a tailhook to the default lr 737 and landed very easily on carriers multiple times. i will try it with the zibomod soon.

Hi FD2S, it is amazing what the aircraft can do that we non pilots are not aware of. When I had a session on the 747-400 full motion sim at Cardiff, the instructor pilot demonstrated what the aircraft can do in terms of performance including stopping distances. I guess it would not be done with passemgers on board! Amazing though. Thanks for the video.

Amazing, btw the off-speed decent warning light in the overhead panel. What can be done about it? How do I fix the issue when that light comes on. Love the tutorials keep em comen. :)

Hi Patrick, That was the off scheduled descent annunciation. This happens when you do not reach the selected altitude on the pressurisation panel and descend. Reset the altitude to present altitude resets the pressurisation schedule FD2S

The Zibo-737 is way difficult to handfly than the PMDG. I have flown the 737 a lot, but flying the a319 since I fly for a VA for 2 years. So I don't know if it still the same...

How long with a fully loaded plane max passengers, max weight and full tanks (no chance to dump fuel) because during takeoff it got hit by 2 drones which damaged the left engine. But we're lucky its sunny clear skies and no wind whatsoever. We will land safely on what length? 2nd challenge The absolutely shortest runway that can take a fully loaded 737-300? The plan is filled with drunk norwegians who bought all liquid taxfree at the airport and whats to go home to Norway as quick as possible (direct route) to the cold northern parts over Norway. So the plane must be fully tanked. So how short can the runway be?
