That did not work for me. I can still see the scratch after I did everything you did even waiting 3 minutes while the petroleum jelly was on the scratch. And I put a very liberal amount of petroleum jelly on the scratch. You must have done a camera trick to make it look like the scratches were gone after you put the petroleum jelly on it liberally then you wiped it off with a cloth with isopropal alcohol. However the scratch really was not gone just your camera trick you used to trick us into thinking all that you did in this video works to remove a scratch.

Worked well with my Vizio D43-D2 LED TV I got on FB Marketplace (seller didn't tell me about the scratches), the screen was scratched so bad it looked like a bobcat got after it and went to town scratching the heck out of it. 😅 It looks way way better after the petroleum jelly (I even let it sit on the scratches overnight). Be sure to just gently wipe off the jelly with a dry microfiber cloth, not isopropyl alcohol/water. But it depends on what type of screen and what type of scratches you have, so try several things, but don't spend too much money on it...the scratches will always be there, the goal is just to make them less visible.

Holy crap man, even after the video and comments I was still skeptical, but I went ahead and tried it on this screen I purchased from goodwill which was evidently scratched by someone handling it there after the fact. Well sure enough, like many say, didn't completely remove scratches but made them virtually invisible when the screen is on. I've barely scrubbed any in and already made a huge difference. Seems like it might even help the general clarity and glare of the screen too. So I may just treat the entire screen lol. Thanks a bunch!

I tried the petroleum jelly that did not work but the tooth paste basically worked. You can now only see the scratch if you get really super close to the TV. When you're at the proper TV viewing distance you cannot see the scratch at all. You can only see the scratch if you are up really unsafe for your eyes close to the TV. All I care about is if it is visible from the normal TV viewing distance & the scratch is not visible at the normal TV viewing distance so I feel good about it. Basically to me the scratch is gone enough since I cannot see the scratch from the normal TV viewing distance.
