The problem is they’re expensive $$$ ($50+) but they retain all of the screen’s luster AND they’re have higher resistance to scratches. Trust me I hate how most glass screen protectors make the screen duller or hazy or make the OLED blacks seem more gray but the brands mentioned are the only ones doing it right. I think they actually spend money on the adhesive being optically clear when adhered. Along with the higher quality, thinner, stronger glass

8:46 now what if you throw (install) a screen protector that uses glue and uv light to get hardened? Scratches are going to disappear with the glue while the screen protector on? Or what if you cover the entire screen with glue, hardened with uv light then polish it with the machine to see if helps dissappear scratches? 🤔 So many questions
@tokageprime55543 жыл бұрын
What if you fill the lvl 8-9 scratches with resin and let them hardened and load the phone in to the machine

Yea i dunno they got some pretty crazy stuff out these days.. ive had a windshield crack/ chip repair with epoxy resin but they used a big suction cup with a pump that pulled all the bubbles out and pushed the stuff fully into the crack then buffed it out and i couldnt see the crack except when light hits it a certain way when its wet out.. but still going strong a year later.. cost like 1/4 the price of new windshield so yea..
@mikefishes62323 жыл бұрын
I used to be a windshield tech and for this to work you'd have to Dremel out all of the white first then apply the acrylic followed by uv so as long as he can get the white out.. it should work

That oleophobic coating was really interesting to me. Years and years of swiping fingers over the keyboard area remove the factory coating and it would be nice to have it back. What exactly is that liquid, and can the average Joe get it on eBay or something?
