bozworthy Me either. I watch Dan Patrick then Rich Eisen on the Audience Network. I have watched Dan from the beginning in the old studio above the bar. The Danettes were like featherless baby birds waiting for Dan to feed them a lead in so they would HAVE to speak...make a comment. The Danettes are full feathered now and Dan just gets better and better. The Mother Ship was so stupid to let Dan Patrick go...actually force him to go with their stupid decisions. Then the higher ups refused Dan access to anyone on ESPN or even give credit to The Dan Patrick show when they used video or statements from his show. They revealed how they were truly ass wipes. Dan got so big, so popular, with such an enormous audience it got to the point they could no longer ignore him. They tried to make Dan’s show fail but another example of karma being a real thing and of good winning over evil.

Got to add Rich in there too, DP has the better crew, but Rich is legitimately one of the best too.

10 years ago ESPN was the place to be as a sportscaster, now not as much so. I watch MLB Network all of the time and never bother to watch Baseball Tonight anymore.

My favorite Sports Center anchors were Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann. Then it was Rich Eisen and Stuart Scott. Those were the golden years of Sports Center. Now ESPN is about hot takes and debates.

Dan Patrick WAS Sportscenter in the mid 90’s. I remember thinking “Fuck yeah, Dan Patrick’s on!” Whenever I’d catch him hosting. Legend.

ESPN got lucky with all the anchors they had in the 90s, and they never really recovered after they lost most of them.

Since Dan Patrick left, it seems like ESPN has dropped more employees than Amazon. Over 30 cut last year and just cut some recently this year... but for cost-cutting though? They're owned by Disney, that reasoning is stupid af.

What was your reaction when I left ESPN? Wow big ego Dan.
@dirtonknees23 жыл бұрын
Idk. I saw that as, asking a buddy what he thought of that decision. And he even followed it up mentioning that Rich wasn't very confident. So EGO wouldn't really make sense. I could be wrong though!

It’s hysterical the way ANY SPORTS BROADCASTER refs to themselves as “the talent” - “the talent” are the Athletes they cover - that’d be like Turtle or E referring to themselves as “the talent”
@terryosullivan93955 жыл бұрын
They're just talking internal ESPN.
@cuongngo4854 жыл бұрын
the definition of talent is you can make something better while most people can even reach the same level ... the ability to attract a lot of viewrs is the undeniable proof for that ... And sport like any products need good salesmans to become popular by constantly remind people of how good that product it is .. Like a worldwide boxer can only fight 1 2 times a year and it may last only 3 4 mins ... his name easily be fade into people's memory if it can't repeatedly ''analyze'' about it
@welovelibraries45564 жыл бұрын
Cuong Ngo Millions of people could do their job - not nearly as many can do the true talents jobs

@@welovelibraries4556 They still live and well after leaving a biggest network like ESPN for a reason ...Millions people can do ther job but I highly doubt few people can do as good as they

If it is illegal for the defense to go to the head to tackle, why is it okay for an offensive player to stiff arm and most often involves the helmet ?

I love how Dan thinks and talks about being a sports broadcaster as if he was out on the court and/or field..he actually thinks that we give a fuck about “his talents’” and/or view him as a really talented broadcaster. Dude you’re talking about “the talent”...you are NOT the talent. His ego is sickening.

ESPN is correct, the company is more important than the "talents" they hired. Heck anybody can be a sports journalist.
