I remember watching Once upon a time in Mexico and El Mariachi first as a kid, without knowing about Desperado, and and wondering how the hell did he manage such a leap 😂. My kid brain thought he made it with his own money

El Mariachi was raw, fresh, dangerous. Desperados was a good movie, easy on the eye with Salma & Banderas, and a lot more Hollywood.
