How Screwed Up Is The College Football Playoff Rankings?

Another great video brother. I always said 8 was the magic number BUT I get the 12 for money and home games etc etc. No matter what the system is, people will complain about this team did this or that and that team did this or that. So many variables to consider. Win pt diff, strength of schedule etc etc. I dont remember a time EVER that after the bowl season people said a team who finished 9th or 10th should have completed for a National title. I will dies in this hill. 8 is the right number, but it will never happen. .

I hear what you’re saying. I thought 8 was a good number also, but I don’t hate 12. I definitely think they will never go to 8. More likely that they go to 16 than back to 8 and I think 16 will be too many.

@@TheCoachPlays Correct I feel the same way, they will add more and they do NOT need to. No matter what I feel some team will feel left out regardless.

I think a 3 loss South Carolina is better than Alabama and really I think Ole Miss is a better team than Bama. Miami has fell apart down at the end but for me what hurts the most is that Ole Miss team missing the playoffs while Bama got in because they can really argue that the loss to Vandy and Oklahoma is horrible losses for Bama. I love this 12 playoffs because we could get a Cinderella type team (especially if we get a 16team playoffs) I have no faith in Notre Dame because they have been awful come post season but let’s see how these smaller teams can do given the chance.

Yea, I guess they value the Bama win over South Carolina. But they way bama got smoked by Oklahoma should have taken care of that

South Carolina should be in over Bama. they are playing better football right now. Bama just lost late to an OU team that is awful. Bama got in just because of the brand.

Does the committee take conference championship games in consideration

Yet to be determined. For instance if SMU loses a conference championship game are they now out. I think that would be wrong as they lost an extra game than what others played. But we will see
