It’s so funny how according this this Oregon On3 guy and many of their fans, everything about Oregon is amazing. There’s not a single weakness on either side of the ball. To Penn State media/fans, Penn State isn’t talented, big, fast, etc enough. And yet both teams have very similar stats throughout the year on both sides of the ball.

It was more of Oregon running on fumes... Not having adjusted to a guard being injured yet... Top receiver being out... Wisconsin did play well. Football fan here. I've read so many comments from Duck fans after the games and I'm growing tied of them. After this game there will be no bellyaching about, boo hoo hoo, we've played 8 straight games without a bye or boo hoo hoo the refereeing was lousy. In the playoffs the best referees will be chosen and the Ducks have had their bye. If they don't show up to play it's on them.

Four more things: 1. Mid season, Oregon didn't miss a beat shuffling the offensive line due to injury. If guys can be switched around, there's no weak link to exploit. 2. Coach Lorig might have some unique insights on edge rushing our punts. Or, adjusting for our linebacker stunts. 3. Are Lane, Collins, Washington, Payne and other young players ready for Superman? Cam Miller has gotten bombed. DeLuca and the defensive ends are a step slow in coverage. Robinson seems to be still learning the system. Rojas struggle at times. 4. Coaching. Last year, we weren't ready for what Lane Kiffin was cooking. This year, Lanning.

I agree on the take with Wisconsin, first wisconsin is better than their record (same with Minnesota i would say as well) and Oregon fell into a bit of a trap where they were playing Wisconsin's game but hey they still won. PSU fell into a few of those traps this year too, like Minnesota, but they still won as well. Its also BIG10 football and Oregon isnt used to the low score slugfests that teams can put up but they managed to still win so good on them, same cant be said for some other PAC12 teams...

Very good show! I'm a Duck fan, and I think Hopkins came off overconfident. He's right about being glad to be playing PSU instead of OSU. I really dislike re-matches. I feel Oregon, should get the 5 spot in the playoff if they lose this game. If PSU loses they should never fall below OSU after that Michigan loss by OSU. A Texas loss could impact this. Go Ducks!

I thought Hopkins did a good job but he did not do his homework. I listened to it 3 times because I was shocked he said it. He said Penn State did not see Demond Williams. Demond Williams played the whole 2nd half against Penn State and I think 4 of their 5 sacks that game was when he was in the game. Once Allen realized Williams could not hold up to the blitz, they just blitzed him the rest of the game. I would be shocked if Oregon's staff did not watched the Penn State Washington game to prepare for Williams since he probably played the most against Penn State and Iowa.

Hot take on this as a PSU fan, if Tyler Warren gets more than 100 all purpose yards this game, it's going to be close and a long day for Oregon. I tell ya, as a Duck fan I didn't care much for the guy from ScoopDuck. He came of a little too cocky for me. To all the PSU fans, I hope this isn't something you encounter from most other Duck fans. We're used to getting disrespected year after year by fans/media that know it all, but don't stay up until 2 AM Eastern time to watch Oregon games. I would certainly hope we don't pay that kind of disrespect forward because it's been frustrating to be on the other end for so many years. You should of made an argument cause #1 its not even close. #2 we rotate pretty deep as well especially DT. #3 its not just Carter out there Sutton is an animal too. I think there is a lot of teams who are close and it's going to come out in the playoff who is better and we will find out right. I'll be be fair, havent watched too many of Tennessee's games from start to finish. I'll at least count this though is that PSU arguably has the the number 1 edge duo (Carter and Dennis-Sutton) in the country which I think weighs a little bit more than the interior lineman. The top 5 though on that are close though to be honest. Like I said though, I don't think your take is unreasonable or I even disagree with it necessarily. People rag on PSU but PSU has shown this year that even when games look like they might be slipping away, they come back out of nowhere and win so wouldn't be surprised if oregon goes up by two scores then PSU slowly comes back in some way and makes it close

Penn state isn't going to let it get away from them by that much at that low of a score. Anything could happen though just from what I've seen by both teams. I wouldnt predict it.
