Really cool name, really smart, and even important in the local culture ! In french, we call it "hippocampe", which is a french-inated version of the Hippokampos, a greek mythological creature that looks... like a sea horse. But, like, an actual, neighing, mained, horse, but with a fish tail. A mermaid horse, if you will.
