Good point. But the it's designed in such a way that loop can make around the bobbing one quite freely.

Thread doesn't need go around the shuttle hook (it can be slanted so that the thread goes around the bobbin below it) but it must go completely around the bobbin... So what holds the bobbin is the big question..

There's so many different bobbin styles but the class 15 is a good style .. they all do it the same way some do it vertical some do it horizontal and other do it with a vibrating shuttle

If i remember correctly the thread doesn't go all the way over the shuttle on the bottom, it just goes over the side.

It’s in a special casing that allows it to spin. Seamstress here who has repaired her own machine too many times to count

@@manoj81478 the part of the bobbin that catches the thread doesn’t rotate a full 360 degrees, it only swings back and forth. It’s separate from the rest of the bobbin that rotates completely. There is a little nest inside of the bobbin casing where the bobbin sits neatly inside and as it spins, the bobbin casing rotates back and forth a half turn for every full turn of the bobbin thread inside. I’m a seamstress and I fix my own machines. No one really considers how cool sewing machines really are

yes, but how does shuttle makes string go arount string if its atached to machine, because if it was then you wouldnt be able to pass string around it

Yeah wouldn’t what ever is holding the rotating hook get in the way of the thread, that is looping around it?

The shuttle hook has a lever attached. Traditionally in villages the shuttle hook as well as the main needle are linked to a foot lever. When you press with foot both the levers move simultaneously.
